Ok, going off of what you have shown in your pics, and what you have said in your post.
I have never heard of sun burn, if you mean light bleaching, or too much light causing damage to the leaves, I do not see that on your plant.
I have a sour d at 31 days, thats too close to my 400 watt hps, and bleaching is just that, it looks like you are washing the color out of the leaves, from the middle out. What I see on your leaves, along with the info you posted looks like bug damage.
If the pic is not clear, its possible its nute related, or ph, but I would need to know alot more info.
Good Luck, best to get out in front of what ever problems you have before its too late to do anything.
yeah what he said ^^^ looks like a bug was munching on your leaves. it's spring prolly caterpillars or slugs. possibly leaf miners. if its just a baby i would take precautions or you may come back to find no plants.
ive used a water and isoprop solution. 50/50. and spray them babies. wont hurt em', at least hasnt hurt mine. make sure to do them at angles avoiding solution falling into soil.
synthetics are available although i wouldnt suggest them.
neem works, and you can pick it up almost anywhere.
whatever method you use, its important to spray the back of the leaves really well, as this is where a lot of annoying pests like to hang. AND consistency! must keep at it, because if you dont get all of the eggs, it can prolong the infestation.
I used to have problem with leaf miner. I bought Dyna Gro neem oil and Dyna Gro Pro-Tekt and spray whole plants (not recommend for mid flower stage)...after that i have no problem with pests.
little tiny red/orange bugs with webs? sounds like the borg. a.k.a Spider Mites. look underneath the leaves real good with bright light. does anything move? do you see little tiny tiny balls stuck to the bottom of any leaves?
i've never used any organic pesticides. but the combinations of safer's soap, and neem is what most people i hear talk about. also sometimes ladybugs and predator mites. but start with the alcohol and water like that guy up there ^^^ (loudthoughts) said. i have done that one before when i had mites. it works a little bit. but not really. for the most part. im indoors so they are confined. you might have better look since you're outside. i assume you're outside anyway since you have what look to be caterpillars damaging your leaves.
with the neem oil you want to get it all over the stems and branches from the soil up. i don't think neem actually kills anything it just makes it so they can't climb up to get to your plants in the first place, and i think it irritates the ones there to go away too ...maybe.
safer's soap i don't know if it works on mites but im sure when you look it up to see where you can buy it and what it does they will tell you what bugs it will help with.
Ima look more into it, nd ya i have i dnt see nothing black, just the little orange "bug",ima prob nest some ladybugs, nd i only have one plant so i stay on top of her,
Breath, Take a minute and read up about leaf miners. Go to the home depot / anywhere horti goods are sold and pick up : Neem oil (100%) and mosquito dunks. Go home and mix up 1 gal warm water, 1.5 - 2tsp neem oil and add unscented soap or Dr.Bronners until the oil emulsifies and looks light biege. It usually takes about a 3/4tsp or so and spray your ladies down really well and slowly let it soak in to the dirt, I drench with this mix too. Use about 1/4 or slightly more of that BtI mosquito dunk per gallon and dissolve that in you next few waterings and you should be bug free.
The red bug is most likely a soil mite but there are several different types of spider mites. Good luck and dont worry too much, take it easy, whatever you do will have an effect.NS
P.S. At the end of the trail in your leaf is where the larvae exit the leaf, sometimes you can feel a little bulge before they hatch and cause damage, SMASH EM in between your fingers.
that last picture, are you talking bout those little tiny white things that look like dandruff? i think those might be fungus gnat larvae. keep the soil on the dry side and they shouldn't develop into a problem. im not 100% sure on what they are as i have had them in soil and hydro/soil thing i was doing. if they don't grow to be adults they are no rpoblem. but when they start to grow and feed on the roots as they turn into the adult stage they are devastating.
dude two spotted spider mites can be, and commonly are reddish/orange - spay with azatrol at an oz per gal every 3-4 day if your plant are big ..for youngins i dip with the same dilute ratio
this should work for leaf miners also, you can use a soil drench or water with BT for the larva
best of luck
