Science vs Stigma

hey all i just wanted to let you guys know about a documentary that was produced locally in maine about the problems that were caused by maine requiring medical marijuana patients to register with a state database. we were successful in getting that law overturned during the november session in our capital. there was a showing of the film last night at University of Maine at Farmington. every single person that was involved in this project is amazing. i am a new patient here in my state and i am currently waiting for my indoor harvest to complete. the person that was supposed to be able to deliver my medicine for hte week yesterday did not show so i showed up to the movie in pain and tears. the wonderful people that made this film showed me love, found me some medicine, and welcomed me and my parents (who have always supported me in using cannabis as medicine) with open arms. please do our medical community justice, and check out their work in activism. if anyones interested check it out at www.mainegreencross.net.

i know that the people involved in the project are trying to get the film (which is called science vs stigma) shown on PBS. i am not sure if that is local or national. if you contact someone involved and told them about your interest in the film and who you are that they would be more then willing to get you a copy. they were handing them out to interested people to spread the world last night after the showing.

scwilly, although often times that is the case there are exceptions to every rule. with out an attempt to educate even the most closed minded people the good word about this empowering plant will never reach everybody it needs to
