Couple hours and a few final passes with clean water, better than new. :D

this thread made me laugh...I actually spilled some on my carpet a while back. I didn't notice it for a few weeks and it dried to a kinda taffy. After trying over and over to clean it, I ended up giving up and I just put a few strips of gorilla tape over it :D

I'd go for bac-out first, then maybe try some foaming simple green. If neither of those work, then I'd rent the carpet cleaner.

Boiling hot water and a wet vac. The water will disolve it and you get the idea about the shop vac.,
