The simple answer to that is no. Blood Blood is MKP and red dye. PGRs (subclass, plant growth retardants) are easily identified by their ability to halt or drastically slow upward growth and reduce apical dominance. Unless a product does this then safe to say it does not contain chemical PGRs such as Paclo, Alar, CCC etc.

It does promote closer internodal spacing and gives the plants a bushier stature when used right before, and up to 2 weeks into the flowering cycle. Thats why i asked. Good to know it doesnt have any. Thx

No probs mate. You're safe with that one. To AN's credit they are one company that has stayed away from the use of chem PGR's. Actually, most companies have stayed away from them bar a few. One product I know of (AN) does have very low levels of BAP 6 in it but this shouldn't be a problem at all re toxicity. BB is simply P and K and oh yeah red dye (hence the blood:)

Peace

oh yea duh! They have a hotline. I used to call them all the time and get the dude with the real deep voice and heavy breathing. We joke and call him "The Ancient One" and say hes been around before time existed. Haha He was pretty smart tho, even on issues not related to AN.

Bud Blood has a different nutrient profile than Potassium Phosphate however. Anyone reconcile this?

Add water and other than this you will find different MKP products have different purities and different profiles. Pretty standard stuff in the the fertilizer world. There's 300 Kg MKP to 1000L + dye oh and 30grams pf calcium acetate in 1000L!. pretty amazing stuff. What's it cost??? Of course they may have changed the formula since 2009 and added some MAP - who knows but what I do know is that there is no PGRs in Blood Bud.
