some people who come from countries where they we're not allowed to smile have a hard time adapting with smiling people, because it is really hard for them to change what was ingrained into them as youth

there is something called laughter yoga

where people congregate in a room

then some start laughing

a forced laughter, but eventually it all turns into a room full of laughing people, real laughter

to me, yes the lady seemed strange a bit, but she didn't look like the type that had shit hidden inside of her, being depressed, malicious

but that was just my gut feeling and what I can tell from body language

it's her way of feeling good maybe, feeling listened

youtube is full of people who just want to be heard

Fortunately.... simply 'quitting' was an option. Can't imagine having to change countries.
