Medibles...Rusty's 'choke' report...

The taste is nasty this way, this is why I started using solvents. The solvent never comes in contact with oil or butter. You just use the solvent to make hash then desolve that in your oil or butter. I really wouldn't use acetate or stuff like that, I personally use edible alcohol. Its also easier to separate your starting bud material from alcohol or other type solvent, compared to soaking your bud in oil/butter...

I've got to get me a potato ricer that can be used to press out the canna oil from the plant residue. My last batch I used iso to wash the plant residue clean. This worked well but the iso didn't all boil off and I can smell it in the oil.

On the plus side because I'm using all oil and there's little plant material so the taste isn't that bad. Don't compare butter to oil because of the high water content in butter picks up all the water based awful tastes.

I'm also getting a decently strong extraction and have found that I have to dilute the canna oil with butter or cooking oil. 2 tbsp of oil and 1 tbsp of butter make tasty cookies that have a buttery taste with only a hint of canna taste.
