So many of you claim to love The Constitution, but in reality you do not. You are actually Anti-Federalist, just like Patrick Henry.

He did not want The Constitution. But the reality of the situation was a stronger Federal Govt was needed because the Articles of Confederation did not function properly.

I think there should most definitively be a federal government. I just think there power should be limited to the original intent of the original constitution.

The dollar has no competitor. Its closest 'competitor' is in shambles.
And it trades at a premium to the USD. Rephrased as, the market deems a currency in "shambles" to be more valuable than the USD. That's not something to really brag about.
Ron Paul still believes the dollar is tied to gold. he thinks the discrepancy between the two is 'a bubble'.
That's not really accurate. The price divergence between XAU/USD is not a bubble. It's a ratio. The USD is no more tied to gold than the EUR. Ron Paul believes the FED's balance sheet is a bubble making the US bond market a bubble. He's bascially saying there is a western world sovereign debt bubble.
(IE. Nixon says "we are all Keynesian" this equals, 'if you dont trade your 'reserves' dollars for gold, you are keynesian'.)
He did say that. He should have said "we are all Neo-Keyensian". Keynes's despised the idea of monetary debauchery.
“There is no subtler, or surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debase the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which only one man in a million is able to diagnose.” –John Maynard Keynes
THE WORLD is just as fucked because now they sit on Dollars, not Gold.

(CHINA is FUCKED because they own so many DOLLARS.)
Almost all central banks are starting to hoard gold and you're right everyone is basically fucked, but just because you can't imagine a world without the USD as the reserve currency doesn't mean it will remain the reserve currency forever. Reserve currencies come and go. Market participants will be forced to pick something else as the USD becomes more and more unstable. It won't have anything to do with a few fringe right wingers calling for a gold standard or some stoners on IC Mag talking about gold. It will be a failure of macro economic theory. And it may very well not be gold that the market chooses.

That's why situations as such are called currency crises.

I've stated that I'm for reasonable environmental laws. Financial markets need to have reasonable rules. The Federal Government has it's place. The corrupt corporatist authoritarian behemoth we have right now needs to be largely dismantled over a period of time. Much of the federal tax revenue would be better allocated if it resided in the states.

It depends whether average Joe is a fundamentalist. Life would change considerably but not necessarily frame of mind.

He's a good ol' boy. :puke:

^He's a fat pompous, tool of the devil's torture chamber. A conceded, self serving, blood sucking day walker. Cthulhu scratched his ass the last time he was in the realm and the scale that fell off grew into Newt Gingrich. lol

I think i like Newt better than Santorum.

Newt will look you in the eyes, say something completely hypocritical, they stare you down like youre the asshole (say something motherfucker, i dare you).

Santorum takes the 'holier than thou' road. Its much harder to deal with.

Both lack fiscal conservativeness, but Newt is an easier snake to deal with/understand.

I think Romney is just totally out of touch with reality. He let somoene snap pictures of him getting his shoes polished in front of a private jet. His wife drives two cadilacs, he is friends with nascar owners, he will bet you $10,000 on a whim and a handshake.

I understand why Romney is an asshole, he doesnt know any better.

Lower living standards for a while probably. Although there would be lots of different entrepreneurial doors that open up too.

I have real disdain for him because he pushed for the death penalty for drugs, and he went after Clinton along with others and turned our politics in to such a joke we thought Bush. Jr. was a viable option.

I can't stand Newt. He's going to set the price of gas at 2.50? LMAO. What about the price of milk and bread? Did he talk to dairy experts and wheat farmers too. Who needs the market when you have genius Newt who can just set capital controls and set his own price on everything.

Rick has this weird tonality tonight. His speech and facial expressions are passionless. Forced. I think he's depressed. I bet he goes home and gets wasted on booze and crystal meth tonight.
