:thank you:Thanks to 40Amps for allowing me to test out these awesome beans!

Test Start: 02/16/2012

Seeds: White Berry Kush

Breeder: 40AmpstoFreedom

Description: A stunning White OGK 2.0 male crossed to my Spice of Life Bluebonic mom. You can expect the typical OGK and blueberry smells, medium stretch, and medium-heavy yields. I recommend flowering from 63-72 days.

So Far I've very happy with the appearance of the seeds.

40Amps seeds are $40 for 15 seeds and if you'll notice in the photo above they are beautiful healthy LARGE and juicy looking seeds.

I Just popped 10 Seeds in filtered water in a small container on a heating mat. Once they soak for 24 hours I'll take them to their new homes. Most likely Peat Pucks, but possibly some organic soil. Right now I have some Roots Organics, but I think it's a little hot for seedlings.... Hmmm. Tomorrow I'll buy something perfect for them cause I'm out of rapid rooters anyways.

The Method:

I'm cooking up a Batch of SubCool's newer Super Soil recipe. It's been "cooking" for 1.5 weeks trash cans inside my house where it's warmer.

The Soil Recipe that I used:

4 Bags Roots Organics Soil
About 20 Pounds of Roots Organics Earth Worm Castings
2.5lbs Bone Meal
2.5lbs Roots Organics Bloom Guano
2.5lbs Blood Meal
2.5lbs Fish Meal
1/4 Cup Epsom Salt
1/2 Cup Dolomite Lime
1/4 Cup TM-7 Azomite, Humic and Trace Elements

I mixed it all up on a tarp put in 2 trashcans and poured some Nematodes with a gallon of water and the next day a gallon of fresh EWC tea. It needs to sit in the trashcans for about 3 more weeks, which will be perfect timing for the White Berry Kush Seeds :dance013:

I'm going Veg the plants in small containers of Roots Organics Soil until the super soil is ready and the Males are separated for pollen catching.

Once ready, I'll transplant the Female WBK plants into 5-7 Gallon containers of Root's Organics Soil and the Freshly Activated Super Soil.

After Transplant I'm going to do an Azatrol Drench and then just roll with plain old filtered water.

If needed I'll supplement the Super Soil with some Molasses, Fresh Brewed Compost Tea, and if I have to, I'll even add some General Organics Nutrients.

They will be going through my 1800 Watt Perpetual Machine Found in my Signature Below. Vegging with t5's and Flowering with 600W HPS bulbs.

I'll document and finish with a smoke report. :smoker:

I Can't wait to see these babies grow. Thanks again to 40Amps for allowing me to grow these out.

Update: 7 standing already

I'll snap the first pics once all the seeds are standing up.

So far they all sunk in my shot glass after 24 hours with a few tails showing.

I Transplanted all of them into the Large Peat Pucks for tomatoes. The peat pucks were all very warm and I also put them in a dome on a heating mat in my veg room under T5's.

So far 7-10 have stood up and the other 3 aren't that far behind. By Tomorrow they will all be doing there thing. These seeds take a day or so longer than the usual tiny seeds to stand up... they have stronger tap root and need to fight a little more gravity to get up and get such big hat's off! I'll wait an extra day for healthier seeds any day.

My Super Soil is coming along nicely. I'll be transplanting into Roots Organics Soil until sexing, then into the super soil and flower.

100% Germ Rate.

All 10 Are looking good.

They are Thick stemmed and already getting their first and some second set of leaves.

I'll take a picture tomorrow as 1 of the 10 is still just barely breaking the surface.

1 little seedling started out backwards and never ended up figuring the whole thing out :(

That's Okay!! We have 9 Strong ones out of the gate.

From the front left to right are #1, #2, #3 and so on... #1 was the most developed at time of transplant and #9 was the Least Developed at transplant.

They went into some Fox Farm Happy Frog and they will stay there for a week or two before going into some medium size containers. There they will stay until sexed.

The 9 White Berry Kush seedlings will have 31 days to veg and show sex, then, it's into the big tent.

Just saw these on the bay yesterday and they peaked my interest! Sounds like a tasty cross.

Really interested in seeing how they turn out for you!

mugenbao! Thanks for tagging along, This one will be fun, I can't wait to see what these babies can do. They are all growing along nicely.

SmokingCujo, glad to see some eyeballs in here, I normally don't care who watches along, but for a test grow... I want everyone to see!

Tomorrow is my day off, I'll post some more boring veg pics so you can see their progress.

Peace!

Was thinking about using these. The are slightly larger then my 7 Gallon round buckets and could work pretty nicely. But on the other hand, for a test grow, I may just let them all go untouched and pick a keeper.

I've got 2 out of 16 that also have strange growth so I will keep this in mind as I pop more and more probably needs to be combed through and stabilized if it is a trend. I did not have any the first time I grew them but they are f2's so having not grown hundreds out for my self you just don't know until you do and there is quite a bit of blueberry genes in these. Keep it up they are looking great and bright green! Hope the abnormal ones get up and go if not I would pluckem, especially the top left. I will let you know if I throw my two runts pan out, they are not as big as yours though still seedlings.

I'm excited about the two weirdo's and hoping they do something amazing.

So far, everything is very healthy otherwise.

Yea sometimes the weirdos can turn into the abnormally good :p Maybe I will keep mine longer one is very warped out of 16. I thought I had two but it was some extra dutchmens royal orange that I was thinking of and the first go around with those was anything but royal or orange.

One of the runts is pulling through and turning "normal" although I've been telling them all they are beautiful :) It's nice to see a regular 5 leaver show up.

I'll snap more pictures soon.
