EZ Cloner trickery? Can I do this?

I have a 30 site EZ Cloner. Was going to buy a 60 site and was like, wait!

Any reason why I can't have two cuttings per site in this? I'm only letting the roots grow to about 1/2" (inch) per cutting and then going straight into the Aeroflow system. I'm not going to let them grow so long that they get tangled up in each other. Thoughts? Have you done this?

I've done ~150-180 clones in a 120 model with no issues. Just be careful when separating the roots if you don't transplant right away.

i've done that... even if you leave the cuts in there for a while it's easy to untangle the roots.

u can do it...just be sure to take them out before they start to explode...the roots can get tangled...and being over capacity makes for poor lighting for clones that do not take off right away. I stopped doing it for this very reason.

hi there can i ask if you have had any problems with the ez cloner as a few of the uk growers say the dont work because the pump heats up the res too hot can anyone confurm this...peace Dank

Yes they heat up, but not a problem unless your ambient temp is high.

Tho I do the opposite of multicuts, I checkerboard the sites cause I do my topping and vegging in the cloner. I go up to 45 days in the cloner without critter problems - your mileage my vary.

yes, i cloned 300 at a time with my ezcloner 120 last year.. but i put in soil cups 2 days after rooted..and continue adding new cuts until august10..

but i really abuse my cloners, they work constantly from FEBUARY TO OCTOBER, the only time they rest is when the poorlice take em , ive lost 2 cloner
