Direct sunlight bad for veggie's?

pots?

pots?

Is she in a pot? If so I would cover the pot with cardboard.
Take a piece of cardboard and rollit up. then put it around the pot.
You can cook her roots with 70 degree weather if the pots are dark colored and the sun is at an angle.

Also, the first few days watch her, she may need to be put in a semi-shaded area part of the day.

op has yet to mention broccoli...

how old is your plant? can you say partial shade?

if after some growth your plant needs more light or is able to tolerate it...have at!

8 days, i can do partial shade, thts why im askn i dnt want my baby dien lol nd yes a pot, nd it is pot im growing

is complete darkness better?

eight days? dappled shade, I think. and as above watch that yr pot does not get too hot. the soil in pots stores heat ... is a heat-sink ... can get much hotter than the temps outside the pot.

the heat pumps out all the soil moisture and very soon yr plant will die.

mulch with coarse gravel/small stones, put cardboard or hay around yr pot.

cannabis vegies DO thrive on sunlight tho'.

I first thought you were referencing vegetables. As far as direct sunlight on your cannabis, it depends on how long the plant has been outside in that location. If it has been there awhile and is acclimatised to that environment, it should withstand any environmental pressures present, given that it stays fully hydrated, and well fertilised. Though if there is any doubt, I would consider throwing up some shade cloth, or moving it to a location that receives less solar saturation. Or go sit next to the plant for an hour, looking at it, ask it, will you survive the coming heat wave?, give it 15 minutes to respond, I think the answer will come intuitively.

If you put your mj plant outdoor now it will start to flower, the days are too short.
Doesnt matter how much sun it gets.

if it's a plastic pot, it's probably black, so absorbs a lot of sunlight and transforms it into heat. I've never grown in pots outise, only full soil, but I would use white or light colored pots, or put something around the pot to make it a light color, or paint it
also if it still gets cold outside at night in your climate, plastic pots don't insulate well I think, creating more varying temps for the roots(and so stress), so I would ether put it inside at night if it gets cold, or use something that insulates better/stores heat like ceramic

Have to agree Mrs B. Without supp. lighting, the plant will flower, small or large due to sun cycles being presently at minimal. And there is little to gain. If youre keeping your plant(s) under indoor lighting, a few hours out in the sun on nice days isnt really going to promote faster growth due to lower outside temps this time of year. Just the differences in temps of your indoor area and that of a nice pre-spring day can be enough to "confuse" the plant which may result in growth problems later on. Your are also exposing the plants to the inherent dangers that exist outdoors: Wind or even slight breezes, birds, ground critters etc.

Youre better off leaving the plant under flouros or lower watt HID's, allowing the plant a normal growth cycle indoors, if you plan an eventual outdoor planting...CC

LOL Dude, your a long ways from the "veg" stage and way too early to even consider outdoor sunlite. A spring robin would pluck that little darlin just showin off. Keep it inside, under a flouro and out of harms way. And have patience. The spring plant is right around the corner...CC
