Looking for outdoor grow in North Europe, where is mild, short summers, but still, there is enough sun light. Have struggle for choosing strain for grow, can you advice good sativa for short summer outdoor, with short flowering period?

Found two strains: Sterling Haze (Haze x Northern Light) and Jock Horror (Northern Light x Skunk x Haze), can they flower to finish at my region?

how much north you are? look at female seeds - easy sativa , purple maroc or outc99 could work good...then you can look for ace seeds - bangi haze and nepalese jam..also KC brains have good and early sativas (TNR Ive had ready at end of september even it was very thaisativa pheno) ... snow bud from dutch passion, early durban form flying dutchmen, walkabout mix MrNice was also practical
...8miles high from mandala some phenos could work, but most of phenos wasnt early...
..i can reccomend you also not so sativa, but very good hybrids - purps bcbud depot,

all of those are from my personal experiences ,-)

Hybrids From Hell might be a good starting point, though most are Hybrids there are some good sativa pheno's to be had .

at that lattitude you could also consider thyphoon, I grew thyphoon for my first grow 3 years ago and planning on growing it again this year since the (sativa)high was great
I'm at 53 degrees north btw(netherlands), thyphoon finished very early(end aug or begin sept) here and I didn't have any mold, very hardy strain and easy to grow, the buds are pretty airy tough(but I don't mind that)

Quite a list for outdoor, thanks everybody! :)

Where can I find Thyphoon seeds online? On StrainHunters I read that they are quite hard to get, only from people who had grow them.

I do know 2 places that have thyphoon in stock(one of them only purple thyphoon tough, but that's just thyphoon selected for a higher % purple phenos, personally I liked the purple pheno best that time I grew them, the buds are very airy/foxtail tough, more so than the green pheno, at least in my case)
I don't think I'm allowed to link to those places tough, since they aren't affiliated with this site. so you'll have to google for yourself

I myself still have some seeds wich I reproduced myself 3 years ago, not much anymore tough so have to make some new ones this year

if you can't find them there is also hybrids from hell like rockethigh mentioned, some very nice strains for northern growers and is on here and alo sells trough seedbay
haven't grown anything from HFH myself tough(well, actually I have, but they never made it past 1 day old seedlings due to slugs...)
but from what I've read about it you won't be disappointed, HP and HP2 are sativadom and I think recommended up till 56 degrees north
the brown super07 is also sativadom I think

strainhunters? bad bud porn site, american't-style marketing scheme....my2c

canadian breeders have scores of strains for your env/latitude

any oct.finish strain you can run clones from should finish 1-2 weeks earlier than seed stock

beanho varieties of the sat. variety would work, he finds uber-early finsihers from MH and SSH, ak, etc....

Chocolope? Or more to the hybrid side of things what about cheese or WWidow?
You'd want to pick a sativa hybrid with good mold resistance and short flowering(Choc and cheese are a bit susceptible to PM) A good idea would be to use another site that does strain genealogies or search the icmag's strainguide taking note of parents or grandparents of your choices or potential strains and get something that has a subtropical ie. Southern African or Brazil, sativa in the mix rather than only full tropical sativa. The girls have evolved to flower under certain conditions and those found in equatorial regions will have certain genetic characteristics so include genes that are found more south naturally.
Why not do short flowering indica? Hope this helps..?

Thanks all for help.
Thanks for the links and strains rocket high and djonkoman.
I just want to get good outdoor sativa, tired of indica high.

Hey k47stone I just wanted to give you a heads up on the auto flowering genetics, wich have gotten more potent in the past decade. (Mdanzig sour 60) and (spyder from canned abyss1) for starters. Good Luck !

DNA's Chocolope all the way :) Sent from heaven that stuff hahaha... Must grow out a pack to find that keeper, look for the choc thai tasting pheno's that flower early. The sweet, sour, fruity creamy lovelyness... I miss my choco soo much! What a strain, joy to grow, HIGH yield, best smoke, high and taste. Not too long to flower..

I'd second the Hybrids from Hell recommendation. Almost all of Esbe's stuff is suited for your climate and there are some sativa-dominant selections. You can also find Jamil Sayyida from Karma for a great price. It's a hybrid (half Leb27...an early sativa) they did using Esbe's stuff.
