Rearranged a few things in my veg shed in the last couple of days. I put the MH back in and moved the T5s to the clone/mother side. I was having to run a heater trying to veg under T5s, and the heater was frying some of the leaves.
picture.php

I trimmed up the 6 ECSD in veg, and am really pleased with their structure so far. I have had to top most of them when they got to 24", and now they are almost back up to 24" again... I want to flip them when they get to 30-36", and I will have to top as needed for the next 4 weeks before there is room for them. This is the first round of clean clones, that are uniform, and mono-cropped (aside from the Blue Dragons I put in the other day a little early). I think I will have no problem completely filling up the screens with these, and finally turn on the 3rd 600.

I have been chipping away at rearranging and defoliating my ECSD in flower, and I regret no plucking some of those weaker branches earlier on, they are so fucking crammed into that screen I will not be able to avoid some popcorn on those. I don't want to take too many sucker branches at once and stress them out. I have some pictures on my other camera I will try to post in the next day or so.

They are below the trays and cloner. Not much to look at, just transplanted them yesterday...

The glass is from my reflector, but I was using it to place my future bonsai mothers.

I really feel good about how my USD is filling in. need to rearrange a few buds to fill in the gaps.

The blue dragon are stretching and branching real nice. Almost finished week 2, and need to take a few more cuts before they start popping flowers. I will try to get some pictures tonight. Now that I am not so rushed, I can really train them the way they need in order to fill in the screen. One thing I learned from training the last round is what branches need to go.

So it's done stretching now? lol... I'm happy you like her. You're doing an amazing job of growing the USD.

Thanks Bobble! She pretty much came to a screeching halt at 4 1/2 weeks, putting on an inch a day during that time. I think they were about 20"-24" when I put them in, and the taller one ended up at 48"-49". I think next time I will veg them to 30-36 inches, and that should get me closer to my goal of 60" plants...

It is crazy to see how fast my ECSD are growing. The roots are very white and healthy, and they are drinking plenty of juice.
Here they are on Feb 7th after a haircut:

Then 5 days later!...
picture.php

I will let them go another couple of days, then I will have to top them again, as they are approaching 30"...
The Blue Dragon are coming along nicely. I would have liked to give them another 2-3 weeks in veg, but I already have enough cuts in my cloner to have 6 more Blue Dragons ready to go with ~6 weeks of veg by the time this set get chopped in 7 weeks.

Been slacking on updating, but I have been busy in the garden. The sativa donut needs to be flushed since they seem to be stalled. The ppms stopped dropping at 700, which is 1.2-1.3. I will be draining them tonight, let them sit in just water and clearing solution for the night, then rebuild the solution at about .8 or so for the next 10 days, then flush for a week. This will be 77 days from flip.
The blue dragon donut just finished 3 weeks, and just started showing flowers! I marked their height, and expect stretch to stop in the next few days.

The cloner got off to a slow start since I didn't wash out all the plastic shavings. The sprayers were getting clogged every 6 hours. But I have cuts that should transplant in another week at most.

I now have 4 baby mothers in their permanent 4x4 pots. Got 3-4 more strains left to add to the collection.

Big Update!

Big Update!

Clones are about ready to transplant. I will be taking the most vigorous Blue Dragon, and ECSD, to add to my Bonsai Mum Project. The rest will either replace the Blue Dragon Donut, or gifted to others. I have a chance at picking up a good cut of Purple Urkle, and we all know how silly people are about "purple"...
picture.php

I had to crop, and defoliate the ECSD yet again, they are back down to 24"... I have the Sativa Donut scheduled for chop on the 5th of next month, so I will have to trim them at least twice more in that time. These plants could have been flipped 2-3 weeks ago, but I did not have the money to activate the 3rd donut. I am trying to completely eliminate down time, and expect to have a harvey every 4-6 weeks. Having plants in veg for an extra 4 weeks has to be viewed as down time, or lost production, which makes me sad... The plants are very healthy, and are finally mite, and PM free. The fan leaves that I "left" are as big as my head!
picture.php

The structure on these ECSD are really nice, after I move them into flower I will be removing the back sides, and any sucker branches.

Here is a close up of my first 4 Banzai Mums. Blue Dream, LA Confidential, USD, and Cherry Pie.
picture.php

Stretch has stopped on the Blue Dragon Donut, so I defoliated, and trained a couple of them. I plan on dialing in this strain and keeping her as a permanent crop in my cycle. I have everything documented, and will determine the veg time/height, nute needs, etc...

I have been giving some thought to start a new thread, as others have done here. Most of this thread was created during the build phase of this project, and I think new thread, focusing on "dialage" is in order. I still have some modifications I need to make to my veg area, and will likely post those updates in this thread. I will be working on creating the new thread in the next few days...

Still fighting the fucking BORG! I am in total disbelief... My Chocolope are the only ones that the borg has resurfaced on, not a single trace on the plants that are right next to it. Must be the strain that is susceptible. I covered my exhaust vent with a screen, vacuumed the tops that had small webs beginning to develop, and released 1,500 ladybugs... Just need to make it another 10 days...

picture.php

The Blue Dragon are really starting to smell like blueberries! One of the descriptions I have read about the strain is that is smells like Fruity Pebbles...

Looking good, Arminius! I'm looking forward to your new thread. How many watts are you running total then in flower?

Are the mites just on your flowering plants? Hit up your vegging girls with floramite, it kills mites like nothing else.
