C99 SCROG Grow-600 Watt!

Hello, this is my first grow, i actually tried to grow a couple times but i never succesfully harvested and smoked, hopefully i can grow well and finish this time , i sprouted 9 Female Seeds C99, and 1 Dinafem White Widow and 1 Dinafem Blue Widow, as for soil i am using Biobizz light mix, light is 600w hps, i am using secret jardin dr120 grow tent.

here is some pictures of them, currently they are under 80w cfl but tomorrow i will move them to 600w hps

c99 :

i have a nute called Formulex, i searched about it and they say its good to add this to seedlings, but i have light mix soil so i dont know if i should. my tap water ph is 8, in soil i should give 6.5 i guess but some people say i shouldnt bother with ph. can you give me some advice about these. all advices are welcome since this is my first grow.

Looks good but i have a couple of concerns with what you said . seedling don't need any nutrients for the first couple weeks , not untill they get a couple nodes should you introduce feeding . then start off light with the feed 1/4 recomended dose . second is putting them under a 600 watt light so soon , if your environment is not perfect , it will fry those seedling quick . i'd suggest a T5 or something till they have a good amount of growth , like a couple nodes .

thanks for reply i am cooling the tent with cooltube and some fans, temperature is generally 77-80 , i have to use 600w in veg as i dont have setup for cfls currently

i gave 5ml/l formulex to half of the seedlings 5 days ago and it seems the seedlings with formulex grow better but not sure yet. i will continue to give formulex to half of them to see if there will be visible differences .

what companys c99 is it? i wish you the best of luck that sucks you didnt get to harvest your first couple of tries. i ph all the time i know some say its un-needed but it works best for me if i do. i think dan addressed all other questions once again good luck

c99 is from Female Seeds , i also phed the water but i dont have ph down and i used lemon juice to lower ph, it worked but i dont know if it is good for the plants.

lemon juice is good as long as you don't over do it . not sure what formulex is so i can't really comment on it . but they all look pretty good in the pics so keep at it dude & if ya have questions just ask . we may gave ya a place to find the info yourself but we'll defenatly steer ya in the right direction .
if your light is cooled & yer temps are that good , you'll be fine with it the way it is .

Formulex is great stuff for these early stages, just dont overdue it......good luck

Looking great dreamci. Put my first C-99 female seeds into flower tonight. Two others a couple of weeks behind.

I used formulex on my seedlings also (half strength). Seemed they wanted to stay in seedling mode the full 2-3 weeks.

Have you found much variation?

Love that plant with the curly leaves.

Was worried about the seeds...they were microscopic almost. But they all germed.

You can switch to 12/12 but they may not start flowering until they are a little more mature. But 12/12 does save energy and will flower them asap. I grew Mango Haze last year and everyone told me to start them in 12/12 because of the haze dominance and I didn't. I should have listened because I had a jungle that was just too much. C99 is much the same so my vote is to go straight to flower unless you are taking cuttings.

carbon filter is outside the tent it is already smelling some, cant wait them to smell more
