generalized anxiety disorder

boys have told me that I suffer from generalized anxiety disorder
I have been prescribed benzodiazepines but I have not taken
I did until a few years ago I smoked it regularly then I suddenly stopped
and slowly I started feeling a little depressed now and past .. Then began a year ago and the anxiety associated with panic attacks that rarely but now the anxiety is not going to give me advice what can I do? thanks

if you choose to use cannabis to mitigate anxiety, it needs to be grown to golden trichomes or will cause anxiety. you are looking for cloudy with 20% or more golden trichome development.

there are also strains that lend themselves to use for anxiety. trainwreck is among those.

GDP....my #1 anti anxiety meds :ying:
i would respectfuly disagree about trainwreck, it is very intense !!!
or can be, i would diffenatly stay away from high THC strains ie "OG,Trainwreck"
straight jacket material in high doses

There is this tea I drink that helps. Its called "mellow mood" and has a picture of Bob marley on the front. It has valerine root extract and some other things that will calm you down...try it out!

wow, best ptsd, anti anxiety, day med i have found. it all depends on how it is grown. that is the problem with medical use. how far the flowers are ripened is critically important. golden trichomes require more time. that is the reason most black market meds are bad for anxiety. they are harvested early for the money, not for medical benefits.

SSH has phenos without raciness and uplifts your mood. really great for depression.

another thing to look into is L-theanine, it has worked wonders for me. same stuff in green tea.

and don't forget diet & exercise

I have really bad anxiety as well.. I've been on amphetamines for ADHD for the past 7 years and it's really fucked with my head not to mention made it a lot worse. I'm on the hunt for something mellow yet functional for the day.. I've smoked a lot of GDP and it's definitely too heavy for the early hours. i'm putting my money on SOTF Sweet tooth #4, hopefully i'll pop them soon

generalised anxiety disorder?!

what will the psychological establishment think up next?

I wonder if it's anything like 'oppositional behavioural disorder' that has just been listed in the diagnostic manuals?

that last disorder is suffered especially by 4 yo boys!!!

Hah! all my children had that disorder ... even my girls! didn't last long tho'. a short sharp shock at approprite times and the disorder was soon gone.

I've been on ssri's pretty much my whole adult life up til like 4 months ago when I weened myself off zoloft because I was done being addicted to that shit...

Holy fuck the withdrawal's are hell.....depression...weird brain zaps...rage....suicidal thoughts...feeling completely worthless...wanting to strangle anyone who even looked at me funny......its NUTS...I recommend NEVER going onto brain pills...EVER....

BUT...I did a ton of research about natural ways of fighting off the anxiety because it came back full force once the withdrawal's were over...

Here's my recommendation to you...and so far it has worked for me....

Every morning with breakfast take a complete multivitamin (gotta be complete...you have to have the b-complex in there) and also a magnesium supplement (magnesium citrate is preferred cause it has a way higher absorbtion rate).

That's it...I know it sound way to easy ect...but seriously...it has worked for me....

http://www.livestrong.com/article/309101-good-vitamins-for-anxiety/

http://www.livestrong.com/article/454013-magnesium-for-chronic-stress-and-anxiety/

Basicly what I got out of it is that your body uses its vitamins/minerals to combat stress...and if you have enough stress you can run out of the vitamins and minerals stored in your body....especially magnesium which apparently plays a HUGE role in keeping stress from turning into anxiety/depression/panic disorders...

Give it a shot...imo everyone should take supplements these days anyway....with all the stress and lack of nutrition in the average diet...

For anxiety Maple Leaf Indica works well for me and yes let it go till it is good and amber, like half if you can stand letting it go so long. I understand Sweet Tooth can work for both anxiety and depression. Depression requires some upper effect to counteract it. Anxiety usually requires a sedating type effect.

:yeahthats

Every day brother :good: :joint: And sometimes you just need to think about things and clear your head out a bit, Sweet Tooth can definitely get your mind going in a creative way but it's in a low fear and balanced manner that helps you put things in perspective with some order to them. Sweet Tooth #4 is strong medicine though, dont underestimate it because too much of anything can bring on the opposite of your desired effects. I like to harvest when the trichs are mostly clear and just going coudy myself, this is a nice uplifting but clear comfortable effect with maximum potency - because once THC starts to degrade the trichomes will start changing colors and max THC % is when they are still clear.

I like a nice strong psychoactive blast to the head once in awhile that get's me back in balance with my ego, a little loss of ego from a very strong psychoactive buzz can really be helpful in resetting yourself and getting your center back. You wake up the next day and feel like yourself again, at least that is how it goes for me and a few others I know. Sweet Tooth seems to have the most pronounced effects on your state of mind AFTER you have been high, almost like a nice residual effect from the healing medicinal qualities of the plant. Just a hit or two can be very social and motivating but more than that and you are going to be high all the way and just want to relax and reflect on things which can be quite revealing thought wise and like Bob Marey said the herb reveals you to yourself and I fully agree with that statement. ;)

The most citrusy grapefruity ones are what you want that smell sugary sweet, it's the higher limonene terpene content I believe that really makes a big difference in the quality of the buzz along with all the frosty juicy THC filled trichs of course! :canabis:

Much love be well friends :tiphat:
