Super hybrid S1'ing.... I don't think most of us will find the GSC pheno in that. Lord knows I'll try anything to get my hands on a cut though.

I got a big bag of real Durban Poisen seeds laying there getting older and older, half dont even germ anymore hi hi, i always used to grow it outdoor.

haha we call them the cookies out here because they taste like cookies. the taste reminds me of sugar cookies and lots of frosty icing. plus the smell is kinda similar to sugar cookies fresh out of the oven....weird! its hard to describe you have to experiance it. imagine lemony OG base with candy purple from GDP added in, it blends into this creamy goodness.

I once had a purple strain, that I bought an ounce of about 7 years ago that I will never forget. It smelled like fresh cinnamon snickerdoodles. We dubbed it "the cookie shop weed" and cured it for 6 months.

I wonder if it was related.

You and I chatted a few years back about the J1 cut I had. I'm the one that wrote (with your approval) and got your Happy Brother MILF into Skunk magazine and Money helped a bit with all that.

As for GSC I'm gonna see if I can track down some Durban or Durban dominant pollen from a breeder friend.

Sorry if this has been mentioned already, but reggae artist Gappy Ranks has a new album dropping called 'Cookies'. I guess he was introduced to the GSC by some of the bay area sound crews and it inspired some big ganja tunes.

haha thats cool....speaking of reggae and kind of on a sadnote...RIP to Jamal from High Grade All-Stars....a mendo based reggae/hiphop group up in laytonville that was associated with the cherry pie circle.... he was shot and killed by a mentally unstable neighbor a few weeks ago...some of the homies are pretty shocked and sad about it

What I see is another company not using a standardized way of testing. The standard has typically been GCMS. Now companies are using liquid chromatography, infrared spectrometry and other methods and the numbers are all over the place. There is no consistency, until a standard is set the numbers will continue to be skewed. I have seen something test out at 26% through liquid chromatography and test at 19% through GCMS, a 7% variation is quite significant.

I'll ask Gappy Ranks if he is familiar with the Cookies strain, awesome to see him doing so well and get mentioned (known him since i was a kid).....im keen to find out what he is smoking in the UK. Im sure he would be keen to get some Cookies over here (which i expect wont be far away if not already).
