Anybody had their House searched by an IRS Seizure?

I got letters they are in the process of seizing my property for back taxes. Anybody know of anybody else who has had them come in? i want to know how thoroughly they will search my house looking for shit.

from what i know they dont search the house, they auction it off, then anything left in it after a certain amount of time(like 30 days) gets thrown out...

well that's not going to happen as it's underwater. i got zero equity and a second mortgage to boot. they only want assets.

You need to get your stuff out in that case my brother. Definitely don't have a grow or anything illegal there it's really not a good idea as you likely have guessed, but I hope you have everything else in order and a plan B which it sounds like you do. Be well

yeah i got a bad feeling about everything. any website for that stuff for sale, didnt see one at irs.gov

What stsate??? The state of CA has non-recourse laws which provide that a lender cannot come after the homeowner for additional money if a foreclosed home sells for less than the amount of the mortgage. The California law permits this only if it's the first mortgage that hasn't been refinanced.
