First pc grow, questions

Hi,

I'm planning a pc grow. I have 5 northern light seeds from Royal Queen.pc:20*45, H=50
I have three questions: how much plants should i grow one or two at the same time.
Should i use 125 cfl, if i want to go with cfl.
And do i have to srocg or lst the plant/s?

i dont know too much about pc grows, cuz i havent quite gone that small, but if you have 5 seeds, i would pop two and hope for a girl. If you end up with two, well then you can grow two smaller plants, or if you end up with one, you can train/scrog that one to fill your cab, which will likely be the most efficient way to yield most out of your case. ou i forgot to mention they are feminized and autoflowers, and i asked because i dont know if its good idea to scrog autoflower

yea anything that ive read has said not to. Why autoflowers? might be tricky to get a decent yield out of a pc with autoflowers, knowing that id stuff as many in as you can and they will be nice little lollipops for you

i bought autof because i wanted to grow in summer but cant wait
So i should put all 5 of them?
never growed in a small place so dont know how big can they get, as i understood so far if light are close and soil container is mall the plant wont grow big. am i right?

yeah the autos, to do best, need a deep pot to grow in, most put out a deep taproot. instead of scrog, read up on low stress training, I think it would be better suited to your set up.

well, I have seen PC grows that could hold a couple autos, but it really depends on the strain. I looked up your strain, and it states that it can grow to 90-120 cm (damn you, metric system!!!!!). your height is 50 cm, minus room for your lights, etc. Of course, you don't have to let your plant get that tall. But you don't want to stunt your baby by causing it to go root bound. So maybe try this....take a 2 litre soda bottle, cut the tapered top off it, and see how well it fits in your box. If it doesn't seem like you have much space left, remove more of the top until you feel you have a good fit. Second, LST is going to be your friend here. Read up on it, start to feel comfortable with it, and put that knowledge to use.
Another thought, just for shits and giggles, running your lights horizontal will give you more head room and better under canopy lighting. Just make sure you can light both of the thin sides of the PC.

Hi clone! You might want to check out my grow. I have a similar sized PC with CFL's and one auto and one photoperiod plant here: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=229914. I think I'll get like 2 grams from the auto .

Auto's seem to love a big and deep rootspace, which might be difficult in a PC if growing in soil. Hydro will probably give you bigger plants...

I have to ask however, are you sure your norhtern lights are autos? I thought I remembered northern lights was an indica dominant hybrid but I might be wrong.

The 125 watt CFL will be fine, but make sure you have sufficient ventilation to deal with the heat. Scrog or lst depending on how many plants you get in there.

If you do everything perfectly, you could probably get a lot more than 2 grams a plant. I managed to stunt mine and do some damage with a low ph watering at the early stages of flowering though...
