What's new

AM I THE ONLY ONE

G

greenmatter

who spends more time watching cartoons than "real" TV ......

south park, family guy and robot chicken are about 80% of my combined TV intake (which is not much)

....... and i would argue that celebrity death match and beavis and butthead have hurt the human collective less over 20 years than reality stars have in the last 20 minutes

when i saw the "celebrity you would like to toke up" thread my first thought was lois griffin ...... giggitty ........

it may sound fucked up but i actually think cartman is more likable than most humans i see on TV

has reality cooked my brain? should i smoke more? or less? am i becoming so anti social that i cant even look at people on a TV screen?

******some members have shown genuine concern for my sanity. thanks guys! but it went out the window long ago! ....... and the thread was actually meant as a joke*******

You gotta get back on the horse and keep it movin, bro.

Don't let how you view other people be the thing that cripples you.

Experience people, every once in awhile (and I do mean few and far between) Humans will surprise you. Especially friends/family you chose to have around you your whole life. There is a reason for that, sometimes you just gotta remember.

Good luck :smokey:

most people you see on the tv screen totally lack most human emotions when they are acting, partly because they are terrible actors and partly because the director wanted it to look so terrible so that the program will fit in with all the other garbage,, and they are probably greedy apathetic megalomaniacs in real life as well so im not surprised that cartoons make more sense to watch,, and the characters more likable and real,,

yes you are.

so is that a bad thing?

would paying attention to the kardashians and justin biebers of this world be mentally "healthy" ......... at least until the nose bleeds and headaches started? i could be sane for 7 whole minutes!

i had the dish shut off the day my grandson was born. if he winds up with reality show induced brain damage it aint my fucking fault

if he invites the 4th grade teacher to suck his sweaty balls ......... well, maybe grandpa will have to go to a parent teacher conference

i'll risk it:tiphat:

GO OUT SIDE. GO HIKING, FISHING, SKIING. whatever. if you are analyzing your t.v. habit you are watching way to much t.v.

If you are thinking you want to smoke with Louis Griffin before a real pretty woman then you really need to go find a girl.

^^^^^ don't take me too seriously hash ......... if i really wanted to smoke one with a cartoon red head i would be climbing a bunch of stairs with a .308 and as many rounds as i could carry ....... not there yet

it's just scary how stupid TV programing has become

TV is a waste of money and good brain activity.

Turn that shit off!! Pick up a book and read.

You will be surprised how much more you get done if you cut the stupid box out of your life.

Turn it off and turn your brain on again before it is too late.

Hey Green, Hash and Von are right... TV in small doses, Bro.

Instead of so called "Reality" TV, hit up some NatGeo or Discovery. Maybe History.
Learn something new, perhaps?
Or yes, go outside and interact with some REAL people..not Anime' or very bad 'actors'

Of course you could always become a Hermit, but that seems boring to me.
Life is what you make of it. You're not here for very long and wherever you go after you die you will be there forever...Enjoy this world while you can, it has a lot to offer still

I basically stick to comedy as much as possible. The older I get the more I just want to see funny stuff, and the funnier I find things.
