Found a winner - self it or breed to an inferior sibling?

So, I found a really nice plant out of an accidental cross. I don't have the parents, but I have one sibling that is inferior to the winner. I want to go swimming in my found plant's genepool - is selfing the best option, or is outcrossing with the inferior sibling better at this stage of the game?

Basically, I am trying to decide if I can kill my cut of the inferior sibling without regretting it in the future.

Why not do both, take a few branches and out cross it with the sibling and take a few clones and self them. Take the seeds and grow them out and go from there. You could even do a back cross.

The sibling is taking up a spot that I could use to grow out another clone of my new darling. The sibling had a terrible leaf to calyx ratio - so bad that I'll probably hash the plant rather than try to trim it. In almost all ways, it is inferior to its sibling and both parents. Not sure about the high yet and won't kill her until I get a chance to smoke test it proper.

My new girl exceeds her parents in most ways. I don't want to talk too much about her yet since I am waiting for a good cure to see if the high stays on the up and clear side of the spectrum.

Jungle Boogie (B2 ): Blue Hawaiian X Kali Mist
F1 of a Blue Hawaiian pollinated by a 100 day Kali Mist. I am now a few rungs higher on my personal Grail Quest.

Shot at 60 days:

Taken at 77days with 20% cloudy - at 10 days post chop (barely dry), the high is happy, clear, and up with zero negative raciness. I took it early, but it has a 3hr high.

By far, the cleanest high I have ever experienced. This find will be the cornerstone of much future breeding.

Multiple clones, and try both self and sibling. My heart says self, but cover all your bases. Congrats on finding a winner.

She's destined for future breeding? Self her, absolutely!!!

If for no other reason than to see what traits she is stable for and has a good chance to pass on to most/all of her offspring. Grab a pad and pencil and write down your goals, then write down her and her childrens qualities. You'll see some paterns emerge and your decisions will become more sure. You may even find a better keeper in the S1's. ;)

btw, crossing to a sib is in-crossing, because they are related. Out-crossing would be to an unrelated individual.
