I was thinking about this thread more last night and a thought came to me that I thought was funny. There are songs that get played and played and played for a season. You hear the first two notes from the song and you change it because you just can't stand it.

Then a couple of years go by and you hear that same song and it sounds cool, even if you never like it before. I lightheartedly attribute the phenomenon to the decline in pop music quality. "Oh man, this song used to sound like crap, yet now it sounds great compared to the crap today!" hahah.
