i started 40 seeds .. lets see how it goes ..i'll try to update weekly

today i placed the seeds in water , and filled a germination tray with universal potting soil , applied 2 liters of water to the germination tray so the soil is moist and not wet when i plant the seeds in a couple of days ..

one friend of mine cut his Early Skunk 3 weeks ago, and right now it smells like a haze more than a skunk...very similar to one Super Lemon Haze he ran at the same tome, but with no lemon hints

feeling thankful with my life and satisfied with the hard job done in the last weeks ... looking to the summer sky cant see a cloud but the smoke i puff ... wish this crop is all mighty and i have bud for those rainy winter days .. time to sit back and light a spliff ~

SO i just come from loving me ladys and im so happy

i started 40 seeds .. most of them look amazing , healhy , and just plain happy ...

i gifted 4 of the best looking ones to a friend , 5 died after transplant , about 3 are looking freaky with weird leaf sets , and 5 have been fighting the good fight with what seems to be a cricket .. the rest are looking gorgeous

applied some good old american poison to the ground near by .. to get rid of the cricket ... and fertilized the ladys ..

spain .. thanks !.. gonna take real good care of this babies, real glad i decided to try sensi seeds , ever since i smoked their hash plant i knew i wanted sensi seeds this girls are not feminized but i know they are all chunky ladies ,, i can feel it in my nuggets ,,

i use pots and am growing them in a tropical climate ... so we'll see how far these ladies will go ...

have had great results from mr nices got 18-18 germ rate % after reordering and starting a new pack 4 this summer. No fems though ever! Why on earth would growers want a female thats been sprayed w/nasty chemi's in order for her to sexually confused into producing male parts(pollen). When you can get perfectly normal regular seeds from a pure female thats 100% natural (virgin). And all for why no males, wasted space?

sorry to hijack just dont understand those only 2 reason ,excuses. when its super easy to indentify and pull male, and wasted space? . preflower and pull b4 even in flower room,earlier than females even no wasted space wasted growers mabey peace1

i almost bought mr.nice seeds .. however i want my experiences with those seeds to be super silver haze , mango haze , and afghani haze

i just come from checking ,,, and god was i shocked by the power of nature ... only 14 plants left .. out of 40 ...absolute terror .. it was like this .. 5 died after transplant , + 5 dead from what seems to be an iguana or a cricket from hell jejej ..another 4 gifted to a friend , 6 suddently dried , and 6 i killed due to a lack of desire to live ..

not to worry ... if theres something i am sure is i will not give up!

its weird since i kept one skunk close with me and given more care ,it did not developed as nicely as the ones on the garden , ,, so i feel it was inevitable , and i am glad i have those lucky 14 left ,, i hope i can refill the garden , got 40 more plants on the way .. 10localhazeclones , 10 sensiseeds hashplant , 6 kandykush , and around 20 northern light seeds from the friend who brought me triangle kush ...

first thing in the morning , i'll build a fence surrounding the plants , protecting them (long overdue) ,,,and play ball ,,, round 1 is not over yet

and i have learned valuable lessons already

and the survivors ... are survivors for a reason , they have proven better than the other same cultivar seeds , survived water , fire , wind , mad iguanas and more ...

a nice and hard natural selection took place ... and this is the nicest looking lady , im glad to say , she is solid as a rock , no iguana can take her down

harvest ~~~ :

after many ups and downs ...... i know now i should have bought fem seeds ,,,, all the plants that showed branches ,, and smelled intensely ... where males ,,, i would have loved to saved pollen , but it did not happened ,, so the males,, all where put to sleep ...

the few girls that made it (10) .... out of 40 , grown w GH flora nutrients... had a nice yield ,, around a pound in total (all 10).... with some buds showing seeds in them , also , no branching with nice thick, ball shaped buds close to the stems ... they taste , ok , and have no smell ... , a personal disappointment with skunks .... i guess thats why people say its not the same anymore ... kept one alive due to high yield and the rest has all been smoked ~!

still got sensi's hash plant , hoping its the BOMB ,,and couple more things to look forward too ,

ickybuds-I feel you. Mother nature does not fuck around. She often demands a heavy sacrifice so we can enjoy these fruits. Make lots of seeds and factor in losses, or find good mothers and invest up front in serious preparations. ATM I prefer many seeds, less prep. I love seeing more phenos and selecting for plants that survive and thrive in a real, natural environment.

I know it's a late but, I grew Early Skunk years ago. Nice big plants, dense indica-ish buds. Not much Skunk smell. Decent branching but not as much as Early Pearl. Finished September. Good smoke, similar finish time to Early Pearl, but smoke was far superior. I wonder if the pink hairs is an Early Pearl trait, I had some Early Pearls that had the pinkest pistils I have encountered so far, although purple/pink pistils seems a fairly common trait. I'd worry about mold with this strain but they do finish pretty early.
