BTW, anyone have any ideas on the yellowing plant? Why would one plant freak out in a mono crop?

You can see how much further along the GC is than the BD in the shot above. 3 weeks should make a lot of difference. I'll be chopping those down last.

hang some all green xmas lights around your room and get a green headlamp from the hydro store $15. you can get your chores done during the day and just poke your head in after 6.

Max, you just doubled my productivity. I don't know why I didn't do this earlier.

Things are starting to finish up nicely. I only had a few minor issues this time around. I stopped the fungus gnat problem before it got out of hand. The yellowing plants look like a symptom of that. Also, I think for next time I'll veg out the green crack for another week so that it can fill in the trellis better. There's a picture of some hanging buds that can't really be trellised.

My last attempt at cloning has resulted in disaster. I've already lost over 50% to stem mush. Have I mentioned that I hate cloning? Same EVERYTHING as last time, when I had almost 100%, and now they're falling like wounded soldiers. It's teh suck!@!

One thing that I've noticed that has me a little confsed is that there are two blue dream plants that aren't packing on the trichomes like the others. It's really weird, has anyone ever had something like this happen? They're all clones, and they share an environment in the tube, so shouldn't they all have the same trichome coverage? My largest BD plant in the back has almost NO trichomes. It's weird.

I think the GC could probably be harvested now if I needed to. Pretty nuts for 39 days, huh? It will still add some weight in the last 2 weeks, though, so I'll let her finish up properly.

Here's the BD issue that has me stumped. It's hard to believe these two plants are the same clone.

Looking good and yeah let them finish properly.

Not trying to be a jerk but I see wasted space. There's a lot right down the middle and also in between the 2 sets of 2 tubes on either size if you're gonna run the plants kind of small like that. You're probably looking at a 25% increase in total yield if you jam more plants in there and looks like you can.

I had a 18' x 8' room a few years back with 4800 watts. I trained the plants into the aisle spaces and once in flower I had like a foot of space to walk through along the length of the room in case of some disaster.

I agree that I jumped the gun a little with the change to 12/12. I think an increase in veg would have filled it out a little better. If the whole thing was BD, it might have been a little closer to the mark.

The green crack really doesn't stretch much at all. Before the flip, they were just reaching the screen. They only stretched another 8" or so.

The chains let me squeeze some more space, since I can push them out of the way temporarily. There's just enough room for me to get around the perimeter.

Any idea on the lack of resin on that BD plant?

Take the GC to 54-56 days............We've been growing her for 10+ years now & have pulled her as early as 45 and late as 70. 54-56 is the sweet spot.

Well, shit! Worst thing for a hydro grower to come in and see a garden full of drooping plants. For some reason, that I'm still not sure about, the pump hasn't been cycling for a day or two. I just noticed, but it looks like a lot of the roots have dried out.

It was looking so good! I don't think it's a complete loss, but I don't think they'll completely recover either. The plants never do after their roots have been completely dry. Any tips on recovery, other than daily pump checks? Fuuuuuck!

Man that sucks!

Yeah, it's always something. Chalk it up to experience, right? At least this didn't happen earlier in the harvest, or it could have been a complete loss.

Lesson learned? Cycle through the reservoir pump so that I can see it feeding the plants. Add that to my checklist. It was tough this time, since everything was plugged in and turned on. Still not sure why the pump stopped working.

The next batch is ready to replace this one at any time, so ... practice makes perfect. I can't give up now.

Just an opinion, but I'd spend money and get a "quality" pump. These Ecoplus and other cheap pumps that are sold by hydro stores are crap. Look into buying a pump such as an Eheim or a Laguna pond pump. They are higher in price, but considering what your pump just cost you, how much is too much? Saltwater aquarium hobbyists use these pumps and the conditions of their water is much worse then ours. Secondly, and this goes out to EVERYBODY, service and clean your pump on a monthly basis. Pull apart the pump and clean the impeller using a tooth brush to remove any residue. All it takes is a small foreign object in the pump mechanism to stop the impeller from working.
