lol yea ive seen hazes "look" like this before but not actually do this...but heres the thing...its an og kush...who has ever seen an og kush look like this? lol

either way i plan to pollinate her with the hashberry and keep this thread going if anyone would like to follow it to the end...

if you pollinate a femal is there any way to reveg her back into a normal plant? has anyone tried this? ive revegged females before with good success but i have never tried my hand at breeding and this is my first attempt, and was wondering if its possible to reveg them after you harvest the buds/seeds and still get a normal plant?

My "beer cup" girl got heavily pollenated,... I bowed out of the contest for it..... I'm working a revege of the bottom half of her.

Revege is a slow process tho, and I'm only 1 month in,.... she's not dead yet.... So I'm holding out some hope! ;)

yes you can reveg a plant after it has been seeded. still a female plant just because it gets pregnant doesn't mean it stops being a girl. uh what?

well ive revegged before with good success, heres a few tips to get here going a bit quicker(if she does plant to , lol)

this is my one month plan to reveg:

first cut those remaining buds in half, just the tops of the buds, use sharp scissors...give a veg fers with lots of N, leave of 24 hours light for first 2 weeks, then drop to 18/6 for the next 2 weeks...should have some nice 3-4" shoots growing by then...

the trick is 24hrs light at first to shock it the 18 hrs to let her relax a bit and build veg hormones, pushing the plant with continuous 24 hr light while she is in stress will just leave her in limbo, but she will eventually revert back to veg but not as quick ime as 2 weeks 24hr and 2 weeks 18 hr...

the other thing is to cut the tops of the buds in half, ive noticed by doing this it gives more places for shoots to grow, similar to scarifying a stem to produce roots...

this is just my experience and i advise you to do what works for you, i dont want to get any complaints that my method didnt work, as it took me a year to get this right and as we all know what works for one might not for another...

oh yeah...remove any yellowing or dead leaves as this will just contribute to mold or let the bud continue to decay, once the bud has decayed you cannot reveg her

Thank you sir!

I can't count the amount that got trimmed off, but none the less I've been feeling in my gut that I need to move her to 18/6.

One thing that I've noticed,.... One DOES need to shock them with 24/0 for a while, going straight back to 18/6 leads to nute overload and the plants burn the shit out of themselves.

If you have a question,... check my sig line, then inform me!!!!!

Every now and then you get a strange cutting line.
Usually just pale and weak, tend to think its a virus introduced by the blade or insufficient pool of chloroplasts , mitochondria, etc.

But
that one looks like a very specific like a small gene cascade stopped and I can't ale a best guess how that happened!

Might recover ? I think its possible it could leaf normally again if it's not a deletion mutant.

I do think that that might be a somatic mutation.

When I first saw the pictures, I thought "ethylene problem", and was going to ask questions about any exposure to chemicals or unusual stress.

When I noticed that only parts of the plant had the problem, I then thought, wow, I bet that is a somatic mutation.

The question I have is this:

Did the strange parts all occur in branches that diverged from the main stem above a certain point? Or is it all mixed up?

its only happening on the "tops" of the branches, inlcuding the main stem and the other side branched, but only the tops, the secondary bud sites are growing as normal

Nice. Best way to start my day is with something new.
And i must confess that this is new to me, thanks Joe Fresh for sharing it and to all chipping in with info and comments.
It looks like a genetic mutation to me, but it´s just a not very educated guess.
It would be very interesting to compare the quality of the buds in the end.
Weight, density, potency, high, aroma and taste to see if there´s any noticeable difference within the same plant.
I´ve noticed in some haze crosses that the bud formation would be different from one branch to another a couple of inches away. After drying/curing again there was major differences in smell, taste and high between buds from one same plant.
I´ve put this to test with a few of my smoking friends and they all confirmed my observations. Anyone has similar experiences?
Please Joe Fresh keep this thread alive and keep bringing new info about your freaky mama!

The og cut I have does the same. It also sends up long stems that differ in the way they look and grow only calyx without fan leaves.
