Meh,not bad....but you've set the bar pretty high for yourself,bro. It just seems a little...eh,naked. If you've presented it as part of collection of similar ''snapshots from the WOD'' or whatever it would work better,IMO.

Thanks for the assistance bro. Yes a compilation of stories from the front lines of the WOD would make a very nice collection.
Was reading about the number of arrest in NYC on Latin and Black youths, despite the decriminalization laws. Figured that with 50,680 arrests last year for simple possession, which is supposed to be ticketed unless in plain sight, there was probably a few stories like Javier happening in real life.
Chase him down or just fucking shoot him, the fat cop asks himself. Cops never see 'let him go' as an alternative.

For sure,it's a great dramatic backdrop with lots of potentially engrossing characters.
I think,opposed to the other stories you've posted here,this could be more interesting to ''straight people'' as well. Let's hear about the stories we have around here. The real people we know to exist. Not just the kidiot college stoners and howard marks types the media report on.
I know my parents/in-laws/colleagues need to hear'em. The ''incidental'' criminals,who's only crime is associating with a plant.

Yea, cops here in NYC are scummers, not different than anywhere else I guess. They stop you, ask you if you have any weed on you, and then when you pull it out to give it to them, they arrest you. Would not be an arrestable offense, but the second a civilian has it in public view it is.
