My largest harvest is ready and i dont want to chop

because the plants that will take their place are not big enough yet.



I am 72 days into a grow that could have been chopped a week ago.

I am also all caught up on my 'grow chores', and dont have anything to do...

I only think about chopping them every 20 minutes or so, i thought id share.



The full moon is this coming Wednesday, they will certainly be down then, if i can keep my hands off...

FWIW i used a pullsaw to cut 1/3-1/2 way though their stems 4-5 days ago. A couple yellowed overnight.

I run perpetual, but this is the largest batch that comes out in the cycle.
Harvest will be:
Sour Lifesaver
(2) Nirvana White Rhino
LemonG
SD IBL 2010
Bogglegum.

As you can see, with each one of these sets ive managed to fill the tent more. Well i overloaded it this last time, and dont have enough to replace.

Good problems to have, but a problems none the less.

Nice problem to have. Cut them down, chop them up and show us the trophies. You can do it, you can do it all night long.

(8) 2' x 2' botanicare flood tables.
1/2" feed lines; 3/4" return lines.

Was setup for a harvest on 0202, 0219, and 301


I fucking hate trimming. Its the worst part about growing.
I finally settled on
de-fan leaf,
chop,
hang upside down,
finish de-fan leafing,

(do transplants to replace)

dry till sugar leaves are brittle,
remove sugar,
brown bag,
food saver!

I watched the Godfather and GII back to back last time. Ive got Hearts of Darkness and Apocolypse Now...

Although most people seem to harvest too early, you can also pull your plants too late. It's accepted that the "head" becomes heavier with age as the cannabinoid profile changes, but terpenes and essential oil production crash at this point and sensory appeal diminishes rapidly.

There are three 'sets' of pictures. None of them are current.


The first is when i first set up the tent (~10 months ago).

The second is when i thought i had filled it out a lot better (~5 months).

The last set is 4-5 weeks ago.

(Note the bulb configuration changes)

I could go over a few of these...

the far left, is actually sitting on the floor in a 2Gal smart pot, is Buddyrekka DSD x Mosca C99 (A FREEBIE).

The one in the large container in the back left middle is LemonG

you cant really see it, but the back right middle is White Rhino,

the back right corner is SDIBL

the front right corner, with the massives is BOGGLEGUM (that smells like rancid grapes)

and the front right middle, in the smart pot (that you cant see) is Sour Lifesaver. (There is another in the front left corner, but you cant see any of it.) It grows like that untrained.

Everything else is trained with bamboo stakes and zipties. Note the positioning of the LemonG enables it to get lighting from both sides.

The ones i highlighted were all put in flower the same day (easy to compare budsizes, yield, stretch, everything).

Again, these pics are ~3-4 weeks old.

i seen it (and i highjacked your first thread where you had the male).

I swear my SLS tastes like a bland cookie. somewhere between the crust of a fig newton and white bread. Its kinda odd, its flavor is not unpleasant (and ive never done this), but i swear its like snorting flour.

BOG plants dont stretch much at all. I had to cut a few of the the SDIBL tips off, luckly the lemong stopped right there. As long as you know there growth characteristics, there will always be available space in my vertical environment.

I hear you on the trimming but I always trim sugar leaves wet and freeze immediately, it makes better hash.

Im not even sure how to get "past full amber", but im pretty sure 10 weeks on a SDIBL is not going to get me there...

The only danger i see is mold potential, but im vigilant, ive got lots of moving air, and one fan even oscillates.

well that shit is chopped and hanging upside down without fan leaves.

I still need to do a bunch of transplants. took a few pics, ill up them soon enough.

Did a bunch of pictures disappear?

I only see 4 total, and there were 11, not including the double in post #11 where i dont see any image now...

Does anyone else see the image in post #11?

Think it might be related to the server changes...

Shit I trade some very trusted and life long friends to trim that shit... with close over site..... love a close trim.:comfort:
