I don't really use any of the "booster" products as I fail to see why they would offer benefits above and beyond my current regime which relies on a well amended soil, teas, top dressing, and trying to keep the plants looking healthy. Additionally, some of the products that you mentioned are not organic (Tiger Bloom).

I've used a number of "BB" products to some advantage. I can't recommend any of them due to their effect on taste and the way the screwed up my soil.
Mostly, I've been top dressing steamed bonemeal early on so it has time to break down along with seabird guano and kelp meal.
Stir some hardwood ash in water for 24 hours, dipping off the water when the ash settles. Boil the water half way down so salts form on the side of your pot. Again dip off the water, leaving the salt behind. Dilute it about 10 to 1. I would suggest Googling "making potash" and read up a little first as a precaution though it's a pretty straightforward process without a lot of risk. I guess you could make it to strong or use it too often. I don't push it, only using it a couple times during a grow cycle.
I think too much potassium is equivalent to getting your microherd smoked out on indica. They just want to lay around and sleep all day.

When you guys say EJ, do you mean just bloom with Catalyst and or their Meta K Bloom Boost?
I just started using Cat + Bloom. It smells great, but PH is a bitch. Its either at 3.5 or 7, I've never caught it at the right time I guess

Fox Farms Big Bloom is a great product. Very low NPK ratios... kinda works as a fast food plant tea ;) Also not too of a expensive product.

I recommend you visit the organics for beginners sticky. I've tried multiple things but the soil recipes in that thread are better than anything I've used so far. Still tweaking things for individual strains of course but still my first/second time running a few of them.
