Recycling Crops wastes

Hey guys/gals. Was curious about this subject and wanted to share and hear what others are doing.

Currently I'm using fans/stems bubble hash leftovers w/e as a mulch. Lately ive been using non cannabis plant material, is this a problem or am i fine doing this?

What can be done with extras though? Can i just throw em into them into my soil mix for later use? So when everything is done do i save it for mulch, mix into soil, or what? I dont want to send anything more then i need to into the garbage including incriminating evidence.

Funny story bout using bubble hash l though. I did a batch for a friend and used it as mulch. Low and behold for about a month id get seedlings popping up here and there. They still popping up once in awhile. Running a few of them for shits and giggles. Most came in accordance with the part of the moon cycle associated with better germination rates . I was like they want to LIVE, SO BE IT. They had been outside inside and frozen a few times yet they still survived. sorry for the rambling.

Thanks for any help/input.

Aye, you need to read more of the organics section, I'm pretty sure we've got people who are doing something fairly similar here.

I either burn that leftover waste, or go ahead and compost it. So, long answer short, YES. Yes, yes, yes.

You might want to chop up the woodier bits, so they decompose that much faster, unless you think it lowers the carbon to nitrogen ratio too much.

I re-use all plant material that doesn't get smoked as mulch. In addition to cannamulch I have also mulched with fresh and dried comfrey, carrot tops, and the dandelion green stems left over from dinner salad. I also have seeds sprouting from seeded bubble has leftovers - lots of them. As the are shaded they will eventually stretch out and die - at least this is what has been happening.

Nice pics Pine, I carefully removed them and potted them. They have turned into some pretty plants. Thanks for answering my questions guys/gals. I dont have a compost pile so ill just use it.Seems I end up with more than I need. I gonna be a thick mulch lol. Btw I read the organics section alot and it has been so helpful in my journey. It can be difficult finding the answers to my questions. Sometime its better to make decisions based on the opinions/experiences of others directly related to my questions as opposed to searching threads alot and trying on my own. Thanks again

We ran ours through a chipper/shredder once dry, then mixed with horse manure, peat moss, hay, straw and fed to the worms. We also had seeds germinating in the worm pile.

I've been hearing about folks heating their old cut up roots in oil for a topical rub. Anyone do that? Scrappy

Worm bins and mulch here. Stays right in the garden........never in the trash.

I used to put mine in the green bin, being a med user in Cali. That was until my green bin guy dumped a pile of pot leaves on the ground in front of my house. Luckily this happened at 6am as I was leaving for work so I swept them up and I never did that again.

Now compost and worm bin all the way.
