Root Riots

I've been taking cuttings in Jiffy pellets but thought I'd give these Root Riots a go.

Do you use them and if so, how? Do you give then plain water or plain phed water? Do you add some root promoting stuff, do you feed in the cubes?

i use a root gel then PH'd water. get them planted as soon as you see roots, I lost some babies trying to pause em a little.. I perfer them to jiffy or RW. good luck

My business is growers so I try out lots of products. I prefer GH. I hav used Earth Juice double down.GH liquid and powder, Vinegar too.. did not care for the Vinegar..

I use plain old tap water that's been bubbled overnight. Same stuff all my plants get

Sorry Paladin, I meant what ph do you adjust your water to when giving it to cuts in root riot?

i use the GH rapid rooters a lot so i assume the root riots are similar;

i actually give my clones 1/4 strength nutes every watering; never let them dry out i water them every other day at least; dont leave any standing water in the tray i drain it out after each watering. i also use a dome but that's because the RH in my area is what you would call "dry as fuck".
i usually get nice green clones with roots in anywhere from 7-14 days and near 100% success rate.

about ph: 6-6.3 works good for me in rapid rooters

yep ph of 6 and you're ready to go. i also live in a dry area so the domes are a must.
i spray my plants with r/owater mixed with canna's rhizotonic, no ph.
i usually just take some of my veg nutes and add r/o water til i get it down to 200-250ppms and soak my root riots in this. ph to 6ish

the only difference i notice with the rapid rooters and root riots is rapid rooters have a larger hole so sometimes if i use these, i must wedge a piece of r.r. into the whole to make sure the stems dont dryout.
with root riots i actually have to open the hole a bit.

i get near 100% success rates with this method in about 10-14days.

dont forget to dip clones in a rooting get before planting in root riots.
i use clonex cloning gel
