I just watched "A Clockwork Orange" last nite, so when I saw this thread, I naturally thought of a different type of the ol "in and out"....

Damn! this got me hungry. I've never had INnOut Burgers, but I did have a cool tshirt from them a while ago when I lived back east. I really want some now....

So, I checked what the nearest location was to Portland. Its in Redding CA, and guess how many miles it is.............420! Just a tad under 7 hours driving time was the trip estimate. 7 is a lucky number. Uh oh I'm getting the feel of a road trip comin on...got some other things I could pack into the trip, visit some friends along the way. UH OH

I haven't been to one in years...because they don't have them here.

Possibly one of the best choices for an instant lard top-off anywhere.

CHILDREN - PLEASE PAY ATTENTION.

Say these exact words - (this is the equivalent of a double double, so adjust accordingly)

- I want two cheeseburgers, mustard fried, whole grilled, with no lettuce.

I'd get 3 personally - but thats just me. WIthout question the best burger they make - period.

Intriguing...explain what the 'mustard fried' and 'whole grilled' mean?

Why are their fries so bad? I've never been to one, just wondering how they could fuck up the fries and still be successful.

edit: And what is animal style? Does that mean they put a bunch of sauce or shit on it?

this ^^^^^

anyone have these answers?

Yeah, in my opinion their fries are just fine, they just don't soak them in oil like most other fast food chains so they're actually somewhat 'dry' when you eat them.

Animal style is when they throw extra sauce/cheese/relish on things. animal fries? Fries topped with a slice of cheese, grilled onions, and their 'special sauce' (ketchup & mayo mixed w/ small bits of relish).

Sounds kinda nasty? Probably. Delicious? Fuck yes.

Mustard fried means they squirt mustard on the grill before placing the patty down - completely different taste - absolutely fantastic.

whole grilled is a slice of grilled onion instead of chopped onions - IMO much better.

Enjoy and thank me later :dance013:
