My Afghan grow

I had some soil issues the first time I ran these genes so I figured I'd pull out some seeds and give them another shot.

First up is Leper x Ancient Afghan. These were two Afghan plants Steele chose to make this cross.

Day 38 Flower

I don't really like this plant. There isn't much odor nor trich coverage. The branches never really extended and they aren't getting much light because of the large fan leaves are shading them.

The next two plants tho, are looking really nice and can't wait to see how they finish up.

The odor on plant 2 at this point is a menthol smell. She's also getting nice and frosty!

The last plant up is a cross Steele made and, imo, should release.

This girl has a nice sweet odor at this point. Reminds me of the Ultra Sonja I've been running for the last couple years.

it seems wrong for your plants not to be in goldfish cracker boxes, just not right. other than that damn good looking.

Here are the two Leper x Ancient Afghan after another week.I usually don't remove large fan leaves until they die, but the lower half of plant 1 was getting very shaded, so I removed the six lowest large fan leaves to let more light.

(Leper x Ancient Afghan) Plant 1 is impressing me a lot more than she did in early flowering. She's starting to get a nice greasy/diesel/fuel like smell to her.

(Leper x Ancient Afghan) Plant 2 is still mostly menthol with hint of spice.

UK Cheese x Ancient Afghan has a fruity type smell with a hint of menthol.

Planning on running them around 70 days.

the AA crosses have very wild look about them, like a feral cat or something, or angry lookin mushies , i like it.

STeeele why didnt you release this cross , any particular reason ? the ukcheese/AA?
or are you waiting for right time ?

The plants are throwing out some new growth on the top cola probably because of the proximity to the light they're growing under. The plants are still swelling up, looking forward to seeing what the finish like.

dang those things look frosty like deep chunk around the leaf edges,looks pretty damn interesting , fruity menthol seems nice too, menthol strains seem to make me breath easier , like vics vapor rub helps congestion.

Finishing out nicely, B. Each of 'em look like some nice smoke, though #2 and tha UKC x AA look more satisfying.

Shaw, tha AA, though almost outta stock has moved slowly... Not sure if these crosses would be a feasible line to market, though while more ChemRose is being produced, more AA and perhaps a limited batch of UKC x AA may be made available.
