Losing weight is nearly effortless... it's choosing the right foods that can be difficult.

Don't 'Diet'... simply change the types of foods you eat. <------ (edit: This is a link to the information... click on it!)

I can't tell people enough how powerful this information is.

No need to start working out, running or doing any other additional exercise.... Not saying don't, just saying it isn't necessary. Your body will drop or gain to your natural body weight.

Quit torturing yourselves and....

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:

You gotta give big props for this post. We are what we eat plain and simple.

Fast Food is called fast food because it speeds you on the way to the grave and those Quicky Mart foods... That's not food if it spins Don't Eat It is good advice.

If you stick to eating meals no bigger than your clenched fist, the weight will drop off. You could eat 5 of 6 times day like this, don't be fooled into eating 3 square meals a day.

this is a great way to gauge your food.

but your total calories still count. in fact calories are EVERYTHING when it comes to losing weight...

if your 5 or 6 meals a day of a clinched fist volume is a big mac, you ain't gonna lose weight eating 5 or 6 big macs a day....

Seriously.... you can eat all you want on the blood type 'diet'.... pretty soon you'll feel bloated and back off.

You'll naturally eat less food (especially if you stay away from packaged/processed foods) in the long run and..... the weight stays off. My wife has lost 150lbs over the last 10 years of "on again, off again" with the blood type 'diet'. This last year was another 20lbs that just melted off... we followed the diet pretty well this year.

Can't imagine what she'd be like now if she'd actually taken up an excercise program. :D We'll see in another year or so anyway. :D

The best part is there isn't any yo-yoing of weight.... just a steady, slow, decline. :tiphat:

Cut out my bag of chips and a Red Bull every mourning this year. Maybe that will translate to some weight loss.

I think it's just about being honest with your self. Any body that
can fill out a tax return, knows the basic's of a proper diet.
Cut out junk food, cook whole foods for your self etc
You know the drill.:tiphat:

after reading up on the blood type diet, i am going to respectively disagree... there is not scientific evidence or trials to show this type diet works.

found this on webmd:

"I know of no plausible rationale behind the diet," says John Foreyt, PhD, a researcher at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

i do know however that calories counting works. lets say you eat 2 big macs a day. terrible for your diet and health, but you will lose weight since you are only eating about 1500-1600 calories a day...

in fact, i know from experience you can lose weight eating a double cheeseburger and drinking a 12 pack of lite beer a day. how is that possible you say? the total calories are less than what your body can burn in a day.

for example: your metabolism rate determines how much you can eat. my body burns about 75 calories an hour when asleep and about 125 calories a day when awake, but not active. 8 hours sleep x 75 cals = 600. 16 hours awake x 125 calories = 2000. so i can eat 2600 calories a day and maintain my weight. if i eat only 1600 cals a day (even if it's shitty processed food) i will lose a pound in approximately 4 days.

that's just the way the body works. the processed fatty foods are terrible for your health, but you can lose weight based on calorie counting alone...

You disagree because of something you read.

I agree because I've been helping sick people get better and overweight people lose weight..... for about 10 years now, using the Blood type diet.

I dont' give a rats ass what D'Adamo's ideas are about where all this came from, I care about the results I've seen in EVERY individual that's followed it.

I know for a fact this works with every blood type... I have 3 in my own household.

Don't be so quick to poo-poo something you have no experience with, except for an internet article.

well it does come from one of the biggest and best medical sites on the web...

we can agree to disagree... if it works for you and others then good. you/others are obviously eating less than your daily allotted calories or it would not work.

i'll stick with what's proven scientifically and has worked for me personally...

you stay safe to bro :tiphat:

Eating one Big Mac in any day is not good.

Hey..If you want to loose weight you got to eat nutritious food. Obese people are actually starving because the food they eat is not nutritious so they keep shoveling more shit down their necks.

Eat fat, get fat, stands to reason, obvious really.
