The debt will never be payed down. No matter what kind of tax rate we have. One day we will default.
We've really already defaulted. We're printing money to monetize structural deficits. Printing is a form of default.

The losses haven't been realized yet, but they will be one day in the form of currency collapse. The ultimate default, but it's so much better than actually dealing with your problems while you can get away with it. From the politicians standpoint at least.

Romney didn't just reach across the aisle, he sucked the Dems balls while there.

I missed the debate tonight. Sounds like the usual "if we pretend RP isn't here maybe he'll just go away" BS.

If it comes down to Mittens or Newt I don't know how anyone will be able to take this country seriously anymore. Less do everyday.

Thats why he needs to go after the other candidates for their support of the failed system.

Dr Paul has passes something like 1 outta +400 bills.

He need to turn that into an asset if he is going to gain mainstream traction

(Same with Santrom, but Santorms policies are wack job)

Dr. Paul
What should the role of Gov't be?
The Founding Fathers asked that...
Had a Revolution and wrote the Constitution!

I liked that one. Nobody is supposed to clap but some couldn't help it.

I think Paul will split the Dem vote in the general election. My opinion is he will take the old blue dogs that Obama has run off.

^^^ no point in overlapping, but our support of Israel in late 1973 sure as shit could have gotten a lot uglier. We also were not the once behind the trigger in Afganhistan in the 80's, but our weapons sure had an impact!

The great thing about Romney...

He WILL tell you the median income has dropped 10% in four years,
but he WONT tell you it is ~$26,000,
He WILL bet you $10,000 on a handshake.

I'm not sure the rightest of the right would be a viable alternative for those seeking left leaning policies.

But I will offer up my blue dog rep for the cause.

Then again this is assuming Paul has a chance at the nomination. I doubt he will get it.

IF Paul is running against Romney and Obama, he has a chance to get ~20% of the GOP and ~10 of the Dems. Then it is any mans race.

This will certainly force a plurality. No one will win a majority of the electoral votes, meaning the House of Representatives vote on who THEY think should be president.

If Paul can get all the Representatives from the 26 smallest states to vote together, he could win (and if anyone got all the top 10 states to vote for them, they would win. Its hard to get Tx Ca, Fl, NY to agree on anything.)

At least he's the only Republican candidate expressing substance. Romney says he'll repeal Obama care (on day one) but he's a lying bastard.

Newt reminds me of Rush. Not the rhetoric but the style.

As for Rick - no comment.:)

They all say a lot, no one man can do everything though. The only reason Romney would want to repeal Obamacare is due to the polls.

problem with these dumbshits is they can't repeal obamacare without congress, but they all act like they can to rile the base up....
