dry ice hash using fresh cut plant

hi folks im looking for some info on making dry ice hash with a freshlly cut plant all the youtube videos they use dry trim

will it work ok using fresh cut plant ,im hoping the dry ice just freezes it ,maybe i have to shake for longer ???

plant would be outdoor guerilla grown (should make no difference?)

anyone with experience here care to help:thank you:

I have done a fresh trim run at the same time as doing a dry trim run. My impressions was that the sift was better quality due to less plant material breaking up, but yield was much lower than when running the dry trim.

How much difference in effect was there?

yes, I always sift when wet. I have compared both ways and the quality is much higher when sifted fresh. Less contaminants and far more aromatic/tasty.

I have only done it once and I used fresh frozen trim and it worked fine. I have been thinking about doing the dry ice with a large micron bag and then use that material to make QWISO.

I wasn't being scientific when I made the hash run. I wasn't keeping track of trim in- product out weights. That being said my impression is that running fresh trim will get maybe 25-33% of the weight that using dry trim would. The wet run was about the same color as a dry run but felt much less "talcum-like" than the dry run did. I can get the same quality by shaking a dry trim run for 10-30 seconds then move to another spot to shake the rest.
