The only type of violence towards animals I support are hunting for sustinance, to feed your family.
hunting for sport , Iam not a huge fan but if you use the entire animal , and you try to insure a humane kill, and haverst of the animall.

just like when havesting a plants, you dont just cut off the main cola in the middle you take it apart nicely and be thankfull, respect and enjoy.
peace TS

I have to admit that when I read this I didn't feel sorry for the guy. Culture or not, I don't condone making an animal suffer for someone's amusement.....

I just love the western brainwash program, what do you guys consider is a reasonable punishment for the mistreatment of billions of western house animals like for example the chicken..

Lets hear what Pam has to say about it?

How the fuck does ... for example USA, or Germany treat their bulls and cows??

There is not one of us in this forum that is conscious to animal welfare AT ALL!!

Bull fighting is in the media at the moment because Spanish culture is under attack, they want to replace the independent spanish culture like small farms and all that surrounds it with modern mega institutions. Nobody gives a shit about the welfare of the bulls, all we care about is pointing fingers and sticking the nose in the air to prevent ourselves from smelling the shit on the ground.

tyvm, fuck the modern animal welfare propaganda, its all just political bullshit. Everything from the Sea Shepherd to these campaigns towards the bullfighing, its political and its aimed to influence something else then what it looks like.

Bottomline, bullfighting is not pretty or humane by any means.. but its nothing compared to how farm animals suffer in these mega factories. We used to have individual care of our animals back in the day, people actually used to care about their animals. The cows used to have names. Now they are stuffed with growth hormone and mistreated in the worst imaginable way.

.. just fuck this bullfighting campaign, its a false flag campaign, dont support it!

Flaming-horned bull fatally gores man in Spain

  • A reveler releases a bull with flaming horns during a festival in honor of Saint …

MADRID (AP) — A flaming-horned bull trampled and fatally gored a man early Saturday during a festival in eastern Spain, an official said.
Large balls of flaming wax are traditionally affixed to the beasts' heads before they are let loose to rampage through squares and narrow streets in such festivals.
The mayor of Navajas, population 730, said emergency services in his town were unable to save the life of the 45-year-old man whose name was withheld. Jose Vicente Torres said the accident happened when the man, who had traveled from Alboraia, about 70 kilometers (45 miles) to the south, tripped just as the bull was released.
Torres said the bull charged the man, gored him and then stamped on his head, causing him "irreversible injuries." He said he had offered his condolences to the man's family, but would not cancel similar events scheduled for early Sunday.
"Although ours is a small town, many people from outside come to visit our feast dedicated to Saint Anton," Torres said, adding that black bows had been tied to town hall flags as a mark of respect and mourning.
Many towns in east and northeastern Spain celebrate feasts with "toros embolados," or "flaming bulls," which feature the animals racing around and shaking their heads as a reaction to flames or fireworks attached to or close to their horns. At these regional festivals, flaming-horned bulls are taunted and teased by rowdy crowds in bullrings, town squares or down streets. Unlike with most other events involving bulls, the animals aren't killed in the end.
The regional parliament of northeastern Catalonia banned bullfighting in July 2010 following a signature-collection campaign by animal rights activists. The ban took effect Jan. 1. But the region then passed other legislation protecting flaming bulls, called "correbous" in the Catalan language. Many critics said banning one act while enshrining the other in law was hypocrisy.

of course the guy deserved it (they all do),, im pretty sure even he would probably agree,,

its one of those things,, yes the bull suffers but what about the millions of animals that are intensively reared in factory building that never see the sun or grass before they are butchered,, does that make this any better,,, no,,,

id rather be that bull being stabbed up by some crazy hispanic dude than live the shit life some cattle do,,

also it is an ancient thing,, there are cave paintings of people that did the same thing many millenia ago,,

its illegal in spain i think now,,

still well done bull, just another few billion humans to go,,,

always funny when the bull jumps in the crowd and starts chucking them around as well :biglaugh:

it's torture through n' through tradition or not.

The lancing of the bull has two main purposes, one is blood letting, the other is to weaken (by severing shoulder muscles) the bulls front legs; finally weakness from all of that causes the bull to drop down, if the matador is good the bull will drop in a way that makes it appear to be bowing (before tipping over dead) to the matador in defeat. god awful pitiful.

I had to watch the video several times to see where he went wrong, it seems the matador was not concealed entirely behind his cape when he took two tiny steps, that bull focused on that movement instantly!

Olé!!!

i dont agree with it but have seen it in person once , same week i saw a donkey show . it was a weird week. but i respect others rights. cows are sacred to some religions and look how we treat em . veal is cruel. i would rather be a bull with a chance to fuck up my captor than veal stuck in a stall fed hormones and antibiotics. keeping my muscle mass weak so i am tender.

It breaks my heart too, but ask a spaniard who's earliest childhood memories are going to a bullfight with his dad, he prolly sees it different. I just don't think it should be banned, i don't think anything should be banned, guns, drugs, and just about anything else. People need to be able to make their own decisions, even if it means the wrong decision.

How bout micheal vick? I can't stand the guy, and I love dogs and all other animals, but it is hard for me to fathom sending a human being to prison for a couple years over a dog. None of these BP execs will do any prison time and they have killed an entire ecosystem.

How about the Hitler Youth kid who went to out on Kristalnacht and burnt synagogues with his Dad....do his "cozy family memories" justify the actions?

I think not.

Cruelty is cruelty.....no matter where, when, or who is on the receiving end.

And unless someone has seriously earnt it, it is ALWAYS a crime.

And as far as those BP execs....IMHO they should all be executed on global television.....and don't git me started on Senor Uber-scum Vick.......

i get the whole tradition thing, but i still don't like it .... if it was one guy against the bull, and the bull actually had a chance it would be different.

anyone who has been to a bullfight knows damn well there is no way it ever ends well for the bull and that by the time the matador gets there, the bull is usually so fucked up that all they would have to do is leave the poor fucker alone and it would die anyway

kinda like going fishing for shark .......with a big boat and several people ..... stacked deck.

if you wanna really prove something get in the water with it.

and if you get gored or eaten trying to prove .... uhhm ..... whatever your trying to prove .... please understand that where i come from we have a tradition of laughing our asses off when folks die doing really stupid shit
