Guerilla Greenhouse

Hello guys. I have been thinking a lot about what I am doing for my next grow and I definitely want to start the seeds indoors to get my girls a head start. I have also been thinking about making a guerilla greenhouse to get them out even earlier.

Obviously translucent plastic is way too obvious in the bush but what about 60% shade cloth? I don't plan on keeping this guerilla greenhouse out for more than a month. I wanted to start seeds in early march and then put them out in the green house beginning of April for a few weeks so they could harden off under the shade cloth. Then put them out after temps warm up and they are hardened to outdoors, then deconstruct the greenhouse.

Thoughts/Problems?

I wanted to give the regular seeds 3-4 weeks max indoors before taking them outdoors. Also up to weeks with the autos (majority of this years grow) because I don't want them to begin flowering indoors. Do you think this would be a good idea for autos or not?

Yeah this should go well with some strains and some nice super auto's.
A good idea is to prepare girls for outdoor with a very long and deep root system,
I start them in 3 foot lengths of 6" PVC and when I see some roots get to the bottom I remove the end cap and push it up threw the pipe with my arm, it promotes really nice growth.

Hit up La Buena Hierba if you want a low down on the in's and out's of autoflowers outdoors, he's made some massive titan plants.
Some say that the wrong AF's in outdoors lack vigor and end up collecting allot of mold, so strain will be key.
The search button is your friend!

Depending on your conditions, you could go with Green Crack (my recommendation) wich outdoors grows very nicely and vigorously. Any good strain either your own or selected will do but I suggest a hardy one that will be able to take the sometimes punishing season.
Good growing!

Just a thought.
I haven't tested this, but how about some of that camo burlap used for hunting blinds.
I suppose one could cover plastic with the stuff.

Does anyone know if enough light can get through the burlap?

I would say no on the burlap but camo netting should work just fine. I wouldn't keep em under it for too long though.
