THSeeds BUKU OG KUSH pheno???

hello everyone

i gave a try to thseeds (great mistake)

i decided to give buku a try. thank god i didnt pay for this seeds.

of 9 beans. 6 males. 3 females which 2 of them look like never ending sativas. but one of them looks actually quite interesting, more, indica, more fat nugs, and a very different smell, which is seriously similar to fuel. ive never ever smelled a real og kush or sour diesel, etc, i ve just tried some amsterdam stuff and i never really got the idea of the 'fuel' smell, but this time i have to say no other word would fit it. its very citrusy and very fuely.

ive been doing some research and i found many people had the same problem with particular strain. specially this problem of getting sativas that take forever to end when the pack says they should be pulled at 50 days. this is an absolute lie, no way buku ends at 50 days, absolutely no way.

but i was never able to find any pictures or reports about a more og kush pheno. and as i dont really know og kush, id love to hear your opinions

is this og kush pheno or im just hoping it is?

yeah sort of,, looks more that way than any phenos ive ever seen in buku from the shoddy ass crap i saw for myself,, and the shoddy ass crap ive seen pics of,,

never see many good pictures of any of thcseeds gear,, not that i need to see one before someone dives into their album

I tried there Heavy Duty Fruity I was pleased with it..

I too was a victim of this Seed Mixup.. Or whatever TH Seeds did with this variety.

I flowered out clones of all females from a 10 seed pack, and got very sativa results, some took 13 weeks.. NO phenotype resembling Indica.

When I brought this up with Adam of TH Seeds in person, his solution was "Should have bought two packs...."

definitely as soon as i get a real og kush i will give it a try

i just decided to give this seeds a try, its summer here so its not very good situation for indoors, i cant plant the good stuff in these months

if you can point me to any picture of a real og kush would be much appreciated, so at least i can compare

i checked around the forum and this kinda looks like it, but would be great to get a confirmation from someone who has grown og kush

My BUKU looked very different than yours. Mine looked very indica but took over 70 days...
With TH Seeds the Sage and Heavy Duty Fruity have been good for me, their Dark Star was terrible.

doesn't really look like ogkush to me, i mean i can sorta see it in the leaves a bit, but most og buds are very pineconeish...like big spikey calyxes, not many hairs, absolutely covered in frost, as apposed to buds that have a more typical structure with lots of smaller calyxes and more hairs... ogkush tends to stretch like crazy, and put out little golf ball nugs 6 inches apart, super frosty, like some of the frostiest, and a very very strong lemon taste maybe a bit of almost chemdog taste to it, sort of a garlicy fuel, but predominantly lemon.

here is a picture (not a very good tho) of the whole plant

it does grow golf balls 6 inches apart from the other as you can see, and its super covered in frost, actually more the lower buds than the upper ones . the upper ones were hitted with a male i have selected, just to give it a try someday.

ya it does, thats exactly the sorta stretch and bud size you see in og, i don't know anything about buku, does it have og in it's parents or something? it's also got those three bladed, really pointy leaves with curled frosty edges like og, i guess you will just have to wait it out, if it is an og kush pheno from some og kush in it's lineage you can expect it to go a lot longer than 50 days as well, og kush is a 77 day strain in my book...

but i did feel i was correct when you said frosty golf balls that are 6 inches apart. i realized that when i pulled the plant out to take pictures.

is supposed to be Burmese Kush X OGK

they really dont say much about the burmese kush and they definitely dont say what is the ogk cut they used...

this is the thing with Buku, they advertise it as a 50 day plant and its completely not true. not even this ogkushy one is close to that. and the other two look like never ending sativas, hardly any resin and its already week 6...

I have a Kushage in about week 5-6 and she looks all kush! Yea THseeds just seem like they got by when there was only a few european companies! Now they have one solid buyable strain which is SAGE!

got a burmese kush going now.. will post pics once it starts to flower out.. i also been growing sage.. got 2 phenos. but i think the best pheno of SAGE is the PINK Haired pheno.. the RED haired pheno is just eh.. not for me at all.. not as frosty.. or watnot. i really need to get my strains tested for thc and cbn and cbd so i can figure out what to breed with .

Buddy, i have 2 Buku's (femmed freebies) growing outdoors and i have to say they are not the same plant as is in your pictures. Both of my outdoor Buku's look just alike.

currently 5' tall with the biggest fattest leaves i think ive ever seen on a plant. so big that i actually measured them: the shade leaves are 2.5" wide and 14" long - litterally huge and the plants are covered with them. Branching is unreal and the foilage is super dense. I worry about disease in Oct.

I think the yield will be big - 1lb im guessing. We'll see I guess.
