Ron Paul did not talk enough. They really didnt give him time, and when they did, no one engaged him or they went to commercial.
Newt WON hands down. He won the crowd over before John King finished the first question. Newt then did a fantastic job of deny to you die, and attack the inquisitor! Icing on the cake.

Wow. I wonder how this is going to pan out now...Santorm seems the obvious one to go next and I doubt Newt really takes over the top spot but I know the media will portray it as a two horse race. I guess that because Ron Paul is a leader and not a horse or a horse's ass.
i have been flipping between cnn, msnbc, and fox this morning, and all of them talk as though there are only 3 candidates left.
its ironic, people say they're tired of lying, cheating, flip-flopping politicians, yet they completely ignore the most consistent candidate running. who they don't need to see his tax returns b/c all he earns is his federal paycheck and doesn't talk to lobbyists.

IMO, it didn't help for Ron Paul to suggest that he doesn't see himself as president. Media has the impression that Ron Paul is advancing libertarian principles, not to mention the lower poll percentage in SC. There's not much new to report.
I dont think anyone can be more crazy hitler than Newt Gingrich. that guy is a pure sociopath.
The media ignores Ron Paul for a reason IMO. They want to give his platform as little air time as possible since it is the only real threat to the status quo and their corporatist propaganda.
They'll let Mittens and Company argue over irrelevancies all night. Fits nicely into their garbage programming. Substance need not apply.
When RP got a chance to say a couple of words he did well. CNN blackballed him more than Fox did. It's pathetic.
When it comes to policy, I feel like I know more of Paul's ideas than all the other candidates combined. Everybody else is talking shit, making the latest gaffe, etc.
