I never struggle with my basement getting too cold in the winter, But in the last week, we have had -50 degree nights, And its cooool down there when lights shut off.
So instead of buying heaters and stealing what little moister is in there to begin with, for this cool week or two. I am using a Crock pot.
These things work like a charm!!! Fill the crock pot set for high 6 hours and it shuts off its self before the water runs out, while heating my room enough and adding MUCH NEEDED moister in the air.
Thought I post this poor mans heater , and maybe help someone out during the cold snap here in Canada.
