david akers led the team in scoring, that's right, the kicker!
him and andy lee are all world kickers, you got that.
the punter makes your defense better, way better.
it's all about field position.
thats why i gave u guys 9 pts, due to a few short fields.
giants will have some 3 and outs, no doubt.
but you won't be putting up 36 pts against big blue's defense.
if NO didnt turn the ball over 40 times in the 1st quarter, there would be no talk here.
all im saying is i dont see you guys having you offense having "the game of their lives" 2 straight weeks.
N'awlins slept on san fran, no doubt. we won't.

and why are the worst fans in the world located in Cali?
tween u guys and oakland.........
i would say that the philly fans are pretty nasty too.

The Giants have 49 problems to deal with on Sunday.
There will be lots of crying on both sides, just like last week!

sports fans are just another gang.
and Cali is fucking flooded with em.

it's the exact reason im a giants fan and not a jets fan.
giants fans are mostly older, educated (football wise) calm folk who are in it for love of the game.
now jets fans on the other hand........
young, rowdy, drunken irishmen who wouldnt understand the game if you spelled it out for them. (no offense S4L)
i'm only speaking from my live stadium experiences, different at the crib or bars.
always trouble and brawls at jets games.
an example,
in the old giants stadium, there were spiral staircases located at the stadium to work your way to all levels.
come 1/2 time, the "drunkards" would toss change and small paper bills (mostly $1) down to the center of the circle.
younger unfortunate persons of the area (mostly minorities) would go to pocket the free change that accumulated.
as they combed the concrete, the huligans would pour beer on em, some even pissed into the center circles onto these poor kids.
just a lower class of people (the fans, not the kids)
you NEVER see that kinda shit at giants games.
that is why i bleed blue

Well should be extra scary now that the offense is scoring touch downs instead of field goals.

This is going to be a great game. The first team that knocks someone out will win. Last week both these teams did that this week they face each other.

damn frank, I've been to a shitload of Jets games & spent lots of time gettin' buzzed out on the spirals and I've never seen anything like that.

I'm a Jets fan because that was the first home team my dad took me to see, it easily could've been the Giants (dads fav team) but in '65 dad took me to a Jets game instead.......

Frank, not only is it natural grass, but it's also below sea level. The field is gonna be interesting, but we'll see how bad these storms are really gonna be.

Oh, and I hope Eli is over his stomach virus or whatever. I'd sure hate to have to hear how the 9ers only won because Eli wasn't feeling up to par after puking all night and then getting on a flight to SF!

This is the 49ers 2nd home game in a row, and the giants 2nd away game in a row. They also have a really good secondary. The giants face a big challenge.

49ers finally have a great coaching staff. Although Frank Gore has 1230 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns, I definitely don't see him doing much against the Giants. Also, Alex Smith isn't as good of a passer as Manning. Alex Smith has 3,144 yards and 17 touchdowns.

The Giants... they are their own worst enemy. They can be very good at times and then all of a sudden you find yourself saying "what in the fuck?". When their D and O is clicking, it's a damn good team. The question is, will it be during this 2nd straight away game this weekend? Between Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw, they have 1270 rushing yards yards and 16 touchdowns. Eli manning has 4,993 yards and 29 touchdowns.

The Gints are 4-4 at home and 5-3 away. Even though the 49ers beat them previously, they still seem pretty comfortable in away games. However, the 49ers are 7-1 at home and 6-2 away.

It just may come down to a strong defensive game and field goals on both sides. Or it could be a game full of interceptions and turnovers. Either way.... "Can't wait."

We haven't had any rain all year, I thought you guy's ordered the rain!lol!
The damn field at the Stick is below sea level. Any rain that falls on the field stays there. No where for any rain water to drain too. It won't drain up hill
Gonna be a soggy mess on Sunday, tell them NJ bombers to bring their mud shoes
This really has all the markings of a classic!

A report in from a Sportsbook on the web today says early betting is 91% on Giants the money line +115 to win..no points, and 55% on Giants to beat the spread as a 2.5 point underdog. That tells us where the guys with money are sprending theirs. DD

New York and Phili have huge gambling fan bases there is almost always a huge disparity when these cities play small market clubs.

Were I to bet NYG I'd chose money line at +115 instead of spread +2.5pts @ -110. Last week NYG was +250 against the GBP that was a nice bet, this week doesn't look as good or easy.

The game should be awesome!

Was listening to the radio earlier today and they said Eli is 12/12 on 3rd down in the last two games (YIKES!!!) with like 180 yards and a QB rating of 118.

If Eli can keep this streak alive (which I doubt), it means that every down is going to count. If we can pressure him like we did Brees and force those early turnovers, we got a definite shot here. They aren't running on us, period. Nobody runs on us.

We can run on them though. NYG run defense is ranked 19th (and their pass defense is ranked 29th in the league, so take that for what it's worth). Frank Gore may have a huge day. Hunter is underrated and can find a hole just as well as Gore. The only difference is Hunter carries tacklers before going down, Gore just runs underneath them! LOL.

Defensively, we are going to have to play smashmouth football for all four quarters. Eli has a way of finding a way to win in the clutch and we can't sleep on him.

The Niner D is going to have to really step it up and put the screws to Eli early in the game. We're fired up and he's going to be target #1 for the Smith brothers!!!!! Our O-Line is going to have to step up as well. Alex can take a hit (he's proven that this season, for sure), but we don't need him getting sacked and turning it over.

Long flight out to SF for Eli and the Gmen. Throw in this stomach thing and Eli could be feeling less than fresh, to say the least.

one more stat for ya guys,
the 9'ers offense was ranked 26th in the regular season.
NO team has won a championship w/ that low of a #, irregardless if they had the top defense.
last shitty offense to win was Gruden's Bucs in SB 37, they were the 22nd ranked offense.

giants def wasn't ranked high in the regular season, but the g-men's schedule was the hardest in the league hands down.
next year wont be a cakewalk either.
we will be playing SF, NO, GB again.
also baltimore, pitt and cincy.

our schedule this year was a 2nd place schedule and was killer!

we dont fear the road either, coughlin is 1 road win from setting a record, as is eli w/ his 6-1 road record career wise in the playoffs.
we are also 4-0 in championship games as a franchise.
SF is 4-1 vs the gmen in the playoffs, but the 1 loss was that FG classic game for the nfc championship in 90 i think?

also of note, we went into NE and beat brady at home this year, nobody has done that in 30+ games, no team!

im taking giants getting 2.5 and the under (think its still 44)
