Papaya in a bed of Ocean Forest 2'x4' tent 600 hps

Anyways, this grow is done. Sad but necessary. My heart loves Mary Jane but my brain needs a break. Have to focus on other aspects of my life.

It was surprisingly easy cutting down my Papaya mom and these plants. They are composting now and in a wholesome approach I look forward to utilizing them in my veggie garden.

What happened bro? was it the plants that weren't going so well?

señorsloth- Yea it's not really a set-up with the hose. Its just 2 hoses on both ends of the bin leading past the soil to the bottom of the bin where I have 5" of lava rocks layered. The lava rocks don't hold any water and there isn't any drain so the water level rises to the soil which drinks up as much as it can and no more. I just pour down the end of the hose by hand and with the use of a funnel - once a week and thats it. My 1st and second attempt with a soilbed had a drain, 1st came out good but the second was a disaster. I learned about the no-drain from soma and growdoc who were big on soilbeds at the time. Its great, I'll never go back. They had excellent tutorials but I can't seem to find them as they were years ago and might of been on another forum. they're worth looking for tho.

Haha, thought the hose question was directed to me.

Thanks for coming in flowertops, Are you able to answer the questions in post 16?

The plants were looking great. I was very happy using the Lucas formula for the first time. Through conversations I've had with family and friends, I've just decided to put more emphasis on finishing my "education." Practicing self discipline in a way.
