I believe that is correct. I was given a clone by some friends and it was an awesome plant! Had it outdoors in 10G of organic soil, it was huge. Great smoke also.

hey guys, sorry for a late post. i was given ecsd and biesel last june and have flowered 1 biesel test clone so far with great results. she grows just like the ecsd, and like you guys have said, she's some funk for sure. i've heard a few different stories on the genetics, ecsd x gws, ecsd x bleuberry, and ecsd x b3. i recently met up with the guy the gentics came from and he said its ecsd x b3. from what i've found, b3 is a strain that originates in buffalo ny and is some very hard to find top notch smoke. one of my ex's use to get it when she went to buff state awile back and i did have the opporunity to smoke her a few times, but it was always in a blunt with 8-10 heads on it, so it was tuogh to get a good judgement on it. whatever the genetics are, they are bomb and i'm glad i was gifted them.

Sorry for the old thread bump but i've recently been given a biesel clone. Was wondering if anyone is growing it now and if you had any pics. My searchs have turned up no photos. I'm about to put it in flower and was just looking for a comparison to see if this is what I really got. I did get it in WNY so the above post would make sense. As far as B3 i've never heard of it.

The biesel is a fantastic strain , i love it very much & so does everybody that comes in contact with her .
to make a long story short . yes it was concieved in NY . It is great white shark crossed with a SSH f2 . that combo is known as B8 (we call it the Bee's )the best pheno of the cross . that B8 was crossed with a really nice ECSD . & thats where the Biesel comes from . its pretty well known on the eastcoast cuz shes been around for 7 or 8 years i know of . I met up with 1 of the original growers & crossers of her & was gifted some seeds . from those seeds I have the SSHf2 & the ECSD , the only one i haven't gotten from the seeds yet (still have about 50 ) is the GWS . i have the B8 & the biesel which are both staples in my garden .

these are 3 new moms i just started again ....SSH, beisel & a B8 . i've put a SD clone A sensi star & a double bubble clone in he mom box sense that pic also .

Thanks man. My Biesel looks like yours that is veging. I topped mine and it branched like crazy. My buddy is growing out some SSH right now he's looking for the short flower pheno before I take a cut from him. We made some seeds with a SSH male and a BMR female got one about to go into flower.

I really appreciate the photos. I know you had to go out of your way to post them.

The Biesel is a hardy plant , she roots pretty good , grows nicely during veg & flower , not really a nute hog , just a moderate feeder . she handles stress great .... no hermies outa her at all even during heat stress (ask me how i know :) ) its a pretty easy plant to grow just feed her according to your soil & let her grow . a good 4 week veg then into a scrog net .....& yeah buddy watch the buds stack up . she does stretch alot so beware of that if not using a net . the stems do need some support after the buds start forming . i've been using protekt for that & it helps & the frost i get now cuz of the silica is freekin amazing on this plant .

good luck with her man , if ya haven't smoked it yet ... your in for a nice surprize :)

One of my fav strains for sure, had all 3 phenos and there all amazing in there own way. I'm 99% sure it was original diesel and not ECSD. I may be wrong but I'm quite sure it was daywrecker.

A friend of mine from the NY area has had 4 dozen seeds in a sealed bag labeled BIESEL #1 for about 3-4 years lying around, largely forgotten. Knowing what little I do about his source, I am fairly certain these are legit. After guilting him for years about doing nothing with them, he recently agreed to donate them to my small indoor medical garden in a recently legal East Coast state. Not going to disclose many details but I have extensive experience in botany, and a respectable setup with HPS.

Of the 12 seeds I attempted, 7 germinated, from those, 4 males and 3 females. I pulled the males and the weaker female, though I plan to keep the next males from seed to attempt to capture and freeze their pollen. Two of the females show explosive growth, and excellent potential as mothers. I pulled about a few clones from these two several weeks ago, and will clone more of each in the coming weeks.

When I start to flower some I will try to post pics.
