i havent tried qwiso in coconut oil... did it dissolve easily? ive always used canola oil, and as long as it is 150f it dissolves very rapidly without chance of degradation.

Dissolved no problem. I thought overheating the sample (250F for too long of a time period) might damage the active canna-gredients in my meds. I'm liking the coconut oil so far. I can set it in the fridge, or even by the window, and it hardens. Roll it in your hand or throw it in a glass of warm water, and it turns completely liquid.

I start with a much more refined product than QWISO... So the mgs aren't equal. Anyway, for a traditional user who doesn't have endless supplies of cannabis, the 100mg cap seems to keep them medicated for at least 4-6hs... But yeah, for me to really be "high" I need 2 caps... and then another in about 4hs.

As far as heating the oil goes, thc doesn't vaporize until like 385f? I'm not looking it up, but it's around there. I purge my wax at 250F overnight, and I have the most potent extracts I've ever sampled. I'm sure there are other people with quality extracts, I just haven't met them yet. Anyway, point being, I think you're good.

Very true, my QWISO probably doesn't have the potency some other extracts do. I may skip the coco oil heat for 30 minutes next time, and see how it is after evaporating the iso at 250 for a few hours.

The 200mg dose was much better, but I still feel like it should knock me on my ass a bit more...

Great info in here Lou and Bobble!!! I am going to try this out with the next batch of trim I run, hopefully this weekend. Also making some BHO to fill cartridges for the Omicron vape pen I got.

I have always had problems with edibles and the taste. The best method I have tried were made by someone else who took bubble hash and use that to make cannabutter. You could just barely taste the weed and they were pretty damn strong too.

Ya GO, feel ya on that taste issue. That's why I choose to go QWISO as opposed to using trim or buds. Just made another 6.5 grams of QWISO to be used exclusively for this little experiment... Gotta get my hands on the vape pen once they become a bit cheaper ...


BTW 300mg/3mL of cococanna oil down the hatch today... We will see. If this shit doesn't send me to the moon, we have 400mg/4mL waiting to go tomorrow...

I could probably do and enjoy 400mg, but I think we are finding that happy spot between wacked out of your head, and no relief whatsoever... I bet 200mg would be great for a non-smoker. 400mg for a heavy toker

Gonna try the 400mg tomorrow, then make another batch, with 100mg = 0.5 mL of cannacoco solution. Medium strength starting material, with a semi quick, quick wash

So, 6.5 grams of QWISO gives me 32.5 mL of meds in a suspended solution

hey lou, trick that i learned to good qwiso is grind it fine and throw it in a blender... add the iso and turn it on high for 45 second, filter. gets real strong with minimal chlorophyl absorption. i then run it through a gold filter, folled by a paper element filter to remove remaining. produces the strongest, clearest, with least amout of flavors!

Yo JBG, never tried the blender. I can consistently get glass out of my QWISO. Easily handled, full melt, dark red stuff, that only gets gooey after a minute or two of constant handling...

I don't shake or even mix it at all. Lay it out in a strainer, and simply pour the iso over it. Very minimal contact time... Either that, or I've had good results using homemade teabags. Anything squeezed out of the bags, or the strainer gets put into a second wash, while the stuff that runs through, produces some straight up amber glass... Everything filtered through a paper coffee filter.

I figured if I'm doing the cococanna oil, I could get away with a bit longer of a wash. Contact time for this one was probably close to a minute, like your blender, for this next set of meds

I'm feeling pretty toasty right now, had to augment the meds with a few oil dabs

Sorry if I am a stoner and missed it but what method are you using to make your QWISO? Are you using ISO or Everclear or something similar? I have always been leary of doing the ISO method and then I also cant get 99% here I think the highest is 97% or maybe lower.

Most of the time I use 91% Isopropyl alc, when I can, I use the 99%... Ethanol is a bit too expensive to keep buying, so until I get a condenser, iso it is... That is also one of the reasons for the extreme quick wash, as Iso is a bit less selective as a solvent when compared to ethanol.

It is well heated, so if anything is left in there, it's only water, but that is normally gone too since I evaporate at 250F for a few hours to make sure it is well purged.

Repot's coming in a couple of days to 1 gallon bags. They only get 3-4 days to get their feet under them before being thrown into 12/12... If I give them that. This last round went 12/12 right at the repot.

The joy of coco/perlite and feeds every watering. You miss a day though, and they start wilting fast My shit ass veg space, I need to keep all the plants as small as possible, so they don't overgrow it...

I've got to resupply the hall and the pod (14+8) with plants, and only have 200w of CFLs to get it done. Way less than 10w per plant once you figure the males and extras as well in case we get a slow or unhealthy clone... I think the low light levels help them make it in the tiny cups as well

Great pheno I found from a cross I made a while back... Gonna try my first ever reveg with her She made it her whole life in a beer cup, now question for any of the reveggers out there.....


Should I repot her to a slightly bigger one, or just let her stay in the beer cup until she starts putting out new shoots???? She already got a dose of veg nutes, and is sitting back in my veg space under 24/0...

For anyone out there at home wondering, we're going 400mg today... The last of my first batch of cococanna oil. 300mg had me stoned to the bone for a good 5 hours yesterday. Took a while to kick in, but after that, it's a very nice ride. Interested to see how this 400mg dose does, as I have a good feeling about it

"slightly" bigger is a good idea IME. no reason to go too much bigger until she decides that she wants to grow again. some kind of "root tonic" would probably help you out too ...... any plant that far into flower in a tiny container is gonna need a little help

Thanks bro will be uppotting here in a couple of days then. I have SM90 available, not sure what a root tonic is

I just planned on going with my usual veg regimen, which is a real light feed. GH 3 part at 5-5-5, calmag plus at 3ml/gal, sm90 @ 2.5ml/gal, and drip clean at .4ml/gal

root tonic = products like Roots Excelurator from H+G or regen-a-Root from CX ..... a good EWC or compost tea if you are all organic.

IMHO when you start flushing the girls they pull all the good stuff out of the roots just like they pull the good stuff out of the leaves ......... helping the roots out helps you
