Portable Oil Vaporizers - how long does the oil last?

you got the link to that vid?
glycerin tincture carts use cotton, the current omicron uses a silicone rope with a nickle-chromium wire wrapped around it. thats why you can hit pure oil in it without any glycerin. i have disassembled a dozen different types of carts (compulsively destructive?)
and the only omicron carts with cotton in them were the gen 1 types...before they launched the 100% oil cart. they have a nail cart coming soon, that runs hash and herb, dunno what that one is made of.

if you dry fire (and hit) a virgin omicron cart there is a bad "electronics" taste that i assume is the hot wire, toasting the silicone wick. of course repeatedly dry firing an empty cart will burn it out pretty quick.

and how bad is inhaling any of that? The wire and such?

nichrome wires are what my toaster uses so i hope its ok for food use.

i know that silicone cooking implements are oven safe up to 420F, and when there is hash oil in the cart the wick is saturated....so i am guessing nowhere near that hot when in use.

Well normal vaping temps are 300-400, and hash/oils are usually higher, so I hope everything is good... Glad to hear about that wire, I thought there were rods in a toaster... But I dont' take shit apart you seem to be the master so I will listen to you :). Someone also said Solder, can you confirm any lead solder at all(If so in the airpath?)

that's the most bullshit, bias review that ive seen....

first of all, the review is by Thermovape. so right there, you cant trust what the kat in this video says....

who the fuck cares if its made in the USA? just means its MORE expensive.....

as he is taking apart the "China" vapes, he says this is some sort of this and that, here is some ceramic....

then he takes his apart, " we use this ceramic" "but its medical grade blah, blah, blah" well, couldn't it be possible that the other vapes use the same ceramic? not according this guy....

oh ya, i love the "were not bashing any other product, but i feel its my duty to show everyone what there vape is made of"...

why do YOU feel its YOUR duty? oh! so you sound polite AS your bashing other companies products....

i get it....

i WAS interested in this vape at the beginning of the video and now i think its worst then any of the other vapes because of THIS video...:tiphat:

glad to see the teardown. not super impressed with the guys value proposition. its more a "look at them" instead of "look at us"
so the plastics and wires are made in the usa? doubt that.
and the omicron plastic is called "fiberglass" but the Thermovape plastic is called "medical grade plastic"??

i did find the dot of solder though. its not at all in the airpath like the fella implies, but i do see how a non-soldered option would be better. dunno what temp it gives off vapor, but my soldering iron tip is set to 700F and it takes a second or so to make it melt.

Yeah solder is no bueno, but I doubt we are getting it that hot... (That could be the problem with the persei ATM). I'm glad this was posted, what a joke video...

The really sad part about the Thermovape is that a pair of fully charged batteries lasts a whole 10 hits lol

They give ya 3 sets of batteries but still that doesn't sound very portable.

use the 710Pen funnel cart - has no waste and you can fill up about 1/4 of a gram at a time and dab thru it. usually lasts about 4 or 6 hits

Has the audacity to spam his bullshit here...

THEN says you only get 4-6 hits per 1/4 gram. LMFAO!
