Transplant from NFT to Ebbflow buckets?

I'm about to transplant some plants vegged for about a month in nft to ebb flo buckets.
My question is because the systems are quite different and the plants are about 2 ft tall with quite a bit of root mass will they accept the new system or will the shock be too much.

Any thoughts would be great.

Anytime you transplant, there will be some shock to your plants. As long as you're careful, it should be fine. I always used to transplant from aero to ebb and flow, without any troubles.

I veg in DWC and flower in aero. As long as your not ripping the roots apart I think you'll be just fine.

yea, use very clean hands to handle your plants and be extra careful with the roots.

Like was said above, you will always have some shock, usually smaller plants have less shock than transplanting a larger plant. Large plants have more leaves to support so they can go into shock worse than if you'd just used a smaller plant.

What I'm trying to say is that a larger plant that goes into shock might be passed up by a smaller plant that has gone through less or no shock. Just something to keep in mind and possibly do experiments to find the ideal size of transplant for your strain and system.

Best wishes on your grow.
