What's new

Has this hermie matured and pollinated?

Well, when i did my daily visit yesterday, i noticed one of my PPP flowers, ~43 days in bloom developed a (one) ball, aka it hermied, sadly.

Now i removed the sack and cutted the flower (For future use for some hasch)

What I now fear, is that the sack itself was matured enough to pollinate the rest of my growroom, now that i see a second PPP with some buds getting a bit iffy..

When i removed the sack itself it was still green inside with no hint of pollens inside the sack itself.

Am I denial to think that it's safe, or should I get a realitycheck and understand the area is pollinated?

the flower needs to open for the pollen to escape.
so, if it didn't, you should be good for now.
but keep an closer eye on them from now on, other flowers can show.

Allright, thanks.

Is there any way to see like right away if a flower got pollinated?
Or does it take a while before it shows?

There is a chance, since you are at 43 days, that a few have started to naturally turn brown. Depending on the specific genetics of you plant. Best of luck, you just gonna have to wait and see.

A few seeds ain't gonna hurt nothing though :tiphat:

The other one, saying not the hermie one, is 33 days old, barely halfway through the flowering, it feels it would be too early for that already.
(The hermie flowered during 16/8 allready, hence the day-diffrence)

Well, not jumping to conclusions, having my hopes up.

Just pay attention to all your nugs and dont let any of those nanners pop. You will be fine with your ladies if you stay on top of searching those nugs for those dreaded hermies. You should also be trying to figure out why that is happening! Light leak in dark time is a common problem but theres tons o reasons that shit happens. try to figure out if its something your doing or its just your strain? good luck im eager to see how they turn out!
