WTF is going on with my Sour D

So this is my first run with sour D and I am encountering some problems that my other plants are not (Jelly Bean, Atomic Northern Lights) I thought it was just a Nitrogen deficiency but some of the leaves are looking just messed up. the lower leaves look the worst and there is some discoloration occurring and some of the upper leaves. They are about 3 weeks old and all in hydroton, I am using H and G nutes. I haven't neemed for I think over a week, I changed the res yesterday to just the base nute normal streangth and fed them this morning. IF you need anymore info I would be pleased to share it. I just checked and it read at 6.2 I dropped in a little ph down. I am going to go get some calibration stuff to check out my ph pen...

I checked my ph pen and it was fine.. Some of my upper leaves are turning light green. What can I do to bring back my plants... I tried to just water with the base and i dont think thats working..

To me, looks like the start of Ca Mg def. Either you are feeding too much and there is lockout, you are feeding just right but your pH is off...5.8-9 is more the range you want, or you are simply not feeding enough...

the sour d lines eat a nice amount, so...

I'd drop the pH a little and add a tad more Ca Mg.

For sure I am going to pick up some cal mag today. IF they are in lockout should I flush today with like some final phase(got a bunch of sample bottles) then water tomorrow with cal mag and ferts at like 1/4 strength... Thanks for the reply!

i bet your nutes are too hot...

too fix any problem.

first flush plant and watch your runoff... your runoff will tell you everything... could be ph off could be nute lockout due to high salt content...

flushing plants (make sure they are ready for next watering) the ec will climb then drop. if its still climbing that means there more salts in the medium... when it starts dropping let it drop to where it should be maybe alittle lower... Feed lower after that... ecsd is good around 700ppm not much more is needed if i remember correctly.

I did just switch bases this cycle from AN 3 part to HG 2 part. I think I am going to switch back I never seen anything like this when I used a 3 part AN OR GH.... I am changing my res and then going to drop the ppms . You could also be right about the nutes being to hot I usally start at about 700 800ppm and raise it slowly over the veg to around 1000ppm I think right when I started raising the ppm this problem started..

it took me years to realize less is more with nutes...

i barely hit 1000ppm in flower yet alone veg.... 700 base nute add your additives call it a day.. its diffidently just because its hot... you got to remember that's sour d a sativa light feeder compared to two mainly indica plants that can eat a hell of alot more without any negative affects.

I am having some problem as you I think. I think it's from the hard water.
try 20% tap water/ 80% RO water, depends on your water tho. the rusty brown leave will turn into yellow and die, don't bother.
