98% THC Budder fact or fiction?

The plain and simple fact is, budder cannot be that pure
A friend of mine who is basically a canna-chemist makes the purest oil I know of.
First off you have to be processing top quality material (no trim),
next you have to have the right equipment. My buddies setup consists of the 8oz tamisium extractor, he uses a carrier solvent (lab grade product) to wash out plant waxes/proteins etc then runs in though a roto vac at 25 hg. He then uses a dehydrator to pull excess moisture out.
Then end result is a handle able SUPER thick oil that WILL NOT whip into budder. It has little taste and smell and when vaped off an oil dome it grips your lungs afterwords (even seasoned oil smokers) making it hard to breath for a couple moments.
He has had it tested and the best he has gotten back was 89% total tested cannabinoids (and that was an extraction from SUPER fire buds not even popcorn went into this). Once he has the resources (or I can make enough kief) he will make oil starting from kief and see when happens then. but he predicted it wouldn't be over 95%.
Budder is great too though, and usually is the best tasting oil (not always). But there is no way that it is as strong as something that has had all those "other" things washed out ie plant waxes, proteins etc

i looked up that word too when i saw GS drop it.
this was an "interesting" thread that has so far produced no results whatsoever.
what are the highest *confirmed* % numbers for BHO?

Nice content KS. 98% THC is a real stretch without some advanced chromatography or multiple vacuum distillations IMO. 95% total cannabinoids is a much more realistic target, and would likely be more pleasant, effects-wise.
As far as butane purity goes, you can easily get your favorite brand tested by a lab to really make sure it doesn't contain any nasties. I'm surprised this hasn't happened, actually. If anyone does this please post results!

from what i read, they are using 40 different processes taking three weeks. your finished product is supposed to be 95% pure.

I've heard they use steam distillation some how. Has any one tried the puregold on ti or well? $30 bucks a half gram, too rich for my blood.
95% cannabinoids. It still just says 74% thc on their gc/ms chart.

that's how i read it. 95% canabinoids total.
very evasive on that matter. could be taken either way, buying or using some clandestine process they hope to patent, but since solvent extractions are not legal in cali, they need to tread lightly.
is it free of all waxes?
The pure gold says it still has 2% wax. I would assume that there could still be a bit in the AA. But 2-3% max. I guess its impossible to tell w/o a proper gc/ms on it.
