Grow pics of Gage Green test run

Hey Everyone,

Right now I'm 3 weeks in to a test grow for Gage Green Genetics. The unnamed x is ( Purple Elephant x Purple Snowman) x CDSD. Rad, huh!

So I'll post some pics right now, & more will follow! Also, tomorrow I'll give a brief but in detail summarization of what I use, & my setup.

Here are a bunch of shots. These are all looking really good, staying short & stout, good & strong smelling...had to turn on the filter at week 2 in veg! Most are showing purple on their arms/stems.

Yes I agree...I think these are going to be killer. In the past, any plant that was stinking this early in veg was some dank bud.

Hey guys,

Got some more pics....Im getting close to sex, so it's gonna get real fun now. Sorry if I haven't been detailed, Ihave my main journal with that stuff over at GG. Any q's would be fine. I'll cut n paste my main data page, & post it here, so you can see what excatly I'm doing.

My main journal is extremely detailed & everything is well documented. So if anyone wants a look....just ask!

Ok, so here are some pics! Ill be transplanting my favorites in a day or 2, & will force sex If they haven't shown themselves in a week. i need to start my next test grow, ao I need the space.

My next test run will be Raspberry Bubba x Mendo Montage!!! Stoked! I also received a pack of Grapestomper x GSCDSD.

I'm in hog heaven guys! I'm sittin' on a treasure trove of GG gear! I have enough Stompers,& GS x's to preserve the line HA HA. I love it.

The 1 next to the intake fan...the tall 1...I think that's a male. No preflowers yet, but judging by its structure & growth pattern...think It's a dude.

Nope, buddy...no f2's on the menu. Haven't attempted that yet. When I move, & get set up in a proper space...then I'll go crazy!! But right now, I just don't have enough space, or enough head stash built up, to fool around with side projects. Very soon though! When I move I'll set up my 2 main rooms, flower & veg, plus a separate tent for testers only...just in case, & a "love tent" for breeding! .

So, the reason I think It's a male is that the other 4 (this doesn't mean I think the other 4 are all girls though) are all squatter & more branchy in their build. This 1 is just growing straight up! Similar to some males I've found in the past. Now I very well could be wrong, in my main journal I said " I'll go out on a limb & say I think this will be..". I've only been working with reg seeds for...4-5 grows? Not many... So I'm still developing my sex indentification skills.

Here within a week I'll pull 'em out, & take individual pics of each plant...get a better idea of how they each look.

I gotta say...these reek! Whoa! It's hard to describe...right now just that typical dank smell, but not too earthy/musty, sweeter maybe? Strong though....wafts out of the tent every time you open it. Also, I have a bad sense of smell, so if I can smell it this clearly...decent!

ya thats usualy the case but not all the time, if there is any hidden SAT in the genetics you could be seeing a SAT PHENO of the HYBRID...

but ya bro your probably correct umm but seeing your not planing on doing any breeding im hoping its a GIRL for ya bro..

love to see how these turn out..ive had my eye on a few things from gage green and keyplay...their seeds are priced very affordably and their crosses sound pretty good....i wonder how that snowman looks. the sour grapes is a good strain..

Ya...I'm pretty excited myself! I've never grown any purple strains & I'm excited to see that happen. The stems are already turning...& down the road it will be easy to adjust cool water for feeding to bring it out even more! That's all just for fun though.

I havent seen any pics of the Snowman, but I have of the Purple Snowman...which is a GS redux. It's gorgeous. That strain is just so frosty! This new GS x I got....can't wait to start. I might throw in a couple on the side of my next test grow. It's the GS x GSCDSD I don't know if a BX male was used or not? But I expect that will be the frostiness thing I've grown to date...leaving out my current grow. I'm sure the CDSD passed some frost to the PE x PS.

I hope I get a PE pheno! That 1 is lost to history unless KP try's to bring it back from a cpl hundred seeds he has. Something like that?

I really like their stuff! But what makes 'em great is they're personable, approachable & nice guys all around! They really back their growers & customers too!

Hey guys,

Ok, it's sexing time! The suspected male...I think I spotted the very beginnings of pollen sacs. I'll know for sure by weeks end ill know with all I bet. But 4 is almost certainly a male. I'll update as I confirm sex on each.

I got some new pics...I'll post 'em later today. Plant 2, I transplanted it & threw it under the 600 HPS, & am flipping to 12/12 today. I'm dry (arghhhh!) so I wanted to get something in.

If I get 3, & I'm pretty confident I will...I'll flower the 3 out, under 2 x 600w HPS'. I have a nice round bush shape going on with all but #4. Didn't bother training it because of its build, & the fact I think it's a dude. An even canopy will be easily achieved with a bend here & there, throughout the 1st couple weeks of 12/12.

I haven't decided if I should stake these babies or put a trellis in? I was planning to prune 'em up a little, so I think I can get er done with stakes. Have to think about that some more though.

Hmm...what else? Think that's it other than pics. Again, I'll get those up today.

Hey bud , ya it's interesting too, because those 2 in the back have a 'kushy' smell too em...must be from the CDSD? The Purple E has fat leaves too though, but the smell... it makes me think the CDSD is at work.
The other terpene profile (to get technical) is ...sweeter? It's not earthy or musty.... Sorry, my descriptive powers are lacking. So I hope these lean toward the PE.

Oh, while I'm here ... #4 was indeed a male. So is #2 I'm afraid. Haven't binned 'em yet. Keeping them around so I can document them...then there goners. humm is it possible to get the STRUTCURE from one side and get the SMELL from the other, you could have a cross in that PHENO...

iv'e made almost 100 strains myself but im a pretty basic SEED maker i look and smell for what im after if that make any sence..

That's cool you've made so many, when I get my new space il go nuts! Seriously, I'll fill every inch damn near!
Haze mans stuff sounds nice, the stuff based off Gage's work too! Right now I'm sitting on 9 different strains from GGG! Along with the cuts I find in testers....& the Chem & Bubba cuts I got a line on....I'll have a great foundation to build on! I got big plans! Legal plans though!

Ya, that is a catchy name, huh? Same with the Crystal Grapes! GS x Crystal Locamotive! I want that 1!
