By people signing that e-petition we can try and guage what kind of support there really is for it in the UK. Over time hopefully we will see this grow and that gives us more strength in black and white. Only takes two mins. I made this poster to appeal to the people that don't really know the whole truth seeing as while campaigning, when I start telling people actual facts they stop caring.
I have Crohn's so I'm just trying to better my situation. Someone who smokes weed might see this and then wake up to the truth about prohibition from it. Long gone are the days of £20 1/8s yeah...but one of the dispensaries I worked in while in Denver was just selling $15 1/8th to clear the last few ounces of Bubba. Seen the future, lived it, worked it, want it here, doing what they did.

I think I can say, in my life time, we will never see anything like the dispensaries in the states. The abuse of such dispensaries has made certain of that.
I think the closest we could ever get is to decriminalise the cultivation of a couple of plants, like a few of our neighbouring countries and possession of small amounts.
I do not think the uk governments will ever legalise or decriminalise the sales of cannabis, even if it can be taxed. If anything they will come down harder on dealers and that £20 for 1.5 g will soon change to £10 for 0.1g. Which btw, is already quite common in my city. Little shitty dealers.
I wish you the best of luck with your condition, as a myotonic dystrophy sufferer with ibd and fms I can feel your pain. But after a couple of bust I have found its best to keep to ones self. Keep your neighbours happy and pray every night before I go to bed that my door will not be coming in in the morning.
On a side note, if I may, what strains do you find help your crohns the most? I find the chem lines can really help to settle my ibd flare ups.
Also, if I may, from my quest to try and fix my ibd as best I can I stumbled upon a great probiotic from the states. I buy it on eBay. But it also helps my friend with crohn's.

With a reduction in the price of weed would surely have to come a reduction in the price of seed?Look at the seed prices of legal herbs,basil,rosemary,oregano,mint etc,the prices are £2-£3 for hundreds of seeds because its only the illegality of weed that buoys up the cost of cannabis seeds.

Yup, thats me. That's what is around my way. i have only been back from the states 2 months so nothing of my own ready yet.
I dont have enough to pick up a oz which is £240-280 in my area for anything that isnt the worst viet crap which is £140 a z and has virtually no trichs, is early and is wet AND underweight. My area is a problem since they jailed that gang collectively for 65 years...
Watch out for that wet stuff, it might not be a simple case of curing.
I also live in the south and we've had weed come through here on a semi-regular basis that is sprayed with something sketchy.
It's wet-sticky NOT dank sticky, leafy and stringy. It smells like airfix glue with a hint of weed.
One spliff of the stuff was a brief lift followed by a lingering headache and reminded me of sniffing solvents when i was a retarded teenager.
Leave it out in the open for more than 15 mins and it turns to crispy, sickly looking crap.
Basically this stuff started at source as poor quality, has been soaked to get the THC off and then been resprayed with some nasty, NASTY stuff.
Even if it's all you've got you need to stay the hell away from it. This stuff will fuck you up in bad ways.
If your dealer sells you this you need to tell them to stop buying it.
If your dealer also smokes it (which my dealer does... not my dealer anymore after this again) then find someone new because they're clearly clueless.
The thing that worries me about this is some of my younger friends in their early twenties who have been smoking since they were teenagers don't seem to spot this shit.
One actually goes "mmm that smells great" as the stench of airfix glue permeated the air.
Jesus.
Another one of them got "mashed" on the same stuff but it was clearly not a weed high.
Sorry to ramble but this last batch of utter crap has finally pushed me over the edge and I've sworn off dealers for life. I'm not risking my health so I can enjoy something that is INHERENTLY HEALTHY but gets fucked around with so, SO much by scummy little shits/vietnamese slaves.
The EU puppets in "charge" of this country are utterly irresponsible for allowing this prohibition to continue and they are indirectly harming our youth who quite rightly want to see what this wonderful plant can offer them.
Instead all they have obvious access to is this complete crap that is so far removed from the original plant you can barely call it cannabis.
The general UK weed situation is fucking shameful unless you're lucky enough to know a grower/grow your own.
