Does anyone not use nutes

Hi all was just wondering if anyone goes through their entire grow without using nutes?. I really think that if you use good soil their is no need for them. What do you think I know DJ Short has not been using them either. Cheers

Yea pretty much.

They mostly get pure water. Sometimes water with various mycos depending on what they look like they want. They get a light ewc tea 2-4 times in flower.

The only bottles I deal with are molasses to breed the mycos and calmag very rarely, a few drops per gallon and only if they want it.

Fuck bottles, I'll never go back. My ph meter just gathers dust these days, it's nice.

We dont spell to well not something most of us really care about.. There is no soil that can support cannabis it's entire life.. Many use good soil mixes they also use Nutrients when needed..

No nutes here. I grow in ammeded organic soil. Compost, earthworm castings, minerals, seed meals, and a few times in their life they are treated to Ewc/compost tea. Bubbled tap water. Yield is half what comparable coco gardens yield if I am to believe the growers. Seeing some amazing coco grows and the meds are great(that I've tried)

I use an organic amended Living soil. No bottles here either. I make compost tea from my worm bins with molasses added. I do add a little humic powder to the compost tea now and again but it is not a nutrient.

Water only with no PH adjustment.......the microorganisms take care of that.

Easy as 1,2,3...........

You really need to learn how to spell don't you

could give a shit less smart ass. this thread needs moved, oh and it just did. ZING.:tiphat:

And to answer your question,, No there really isnt a way to not feed completely throughout the grow, different stages of growth require higher or lower amounts of different newts. Ya you can fortify the soil so it is considered a hot well balanced media, but you will still end up adding something to it as time goes on for best results. Whether it be a organic tea, newt supplement or whatever, it is best to add something that correlates to the plant's stage of grow.

Depends what you call a nute. I've been running the same container and same mix for almost 1 year. In the past 20 weeks, spanning 3 different crops, I haven't added anything but water and mulch (canna mulch and fresh chopped comfrey). Mulch that comes from green plant material is just a step away from plant meal, which I would consider a fertilzer, so I'm not sure I would call it "nute free".

Sorry but everyone grows with nutrients. Your plant would die without them. You may not be opening a bottle but you are either amending your soil or buying soil that already has been amendment with some sort of nutrients. It's like asking who is living without ever eating.

DJ short uses an organic soil - still amended w/ nutes; just not a bottle fed store bought regimen {although dry amendments such as guanos, plant meals, greensand, et al are store bought} depending on your region, many of these amendments could be gathered in the wild
